Great Service - Great Location

The folks at the desk and cleaning the rooms were amazing - friendly, informative, and doing all they could to make our stay wonderful. They gave us great tips on restaurants (They were literally 4 for 4 on dining suggests!). The room was quiet, clean, and offered everything we needed. Our view was not great, but we were right downtown and within walking distance to everything.

We expected much more

Room was ok except the fact that the air condition made only a lot of noise but did not cool the air. Thanks to the staff we got some help in the form of ventilators. The maintenance of the hotel is lousy and when the lights went out we were promised the next-dayrepair. Only after a long negotiation were the lights fixed. There is an internet service but it is very expensive and at this time and age it is a no=no for an hotel this size. Luckily there are several internet café around the hotel just two blocks away. The swimming pool was nice and cozy. Staff is nice and some were very friendly.

Not worth the money!

The beds were small and uncomfortable. It felt like I was sleeping on the floor. The bathrooms were quite small; smaller than a motel. The interior colors were ugly. The hotel turned off the electricity in the middle of the night and I had a difficult time using the bathroom since it was so dark. The hotel was very noisy. They should at least replace the windows to be sound proof.

Excellent location

Hotel was cozy and small. Bathroom at lobby was stinky. You have to pay for hotel parking all day for $12CA, it was a bit expensive. You might find other and better location to park other than the parking at this hotel. The hotel service was OK for this price. Room was small, clean and nice view. You heard crazy people shouting in late night. This hotel is the best for who want shopping.

Not on par with my expectation

1) I like the hotel itself, the hall and outlook looks grand to me, however the service and the safety awareness is not meeting my expectations. The car park location and safty is not so secure and clean.

This Hotel was just okay. I may stay here again if there is nothing else available, but this property would not be my first choice.

The location of this Hotel was convenient, however, the bedding was not clean. I got the impression that the sheets and pillow cases were not changed from the previous guest. I liked the size of the room; the bathroom was clean, and the shuttle service to the Airport was convenient.

GREAT LOCATION AND AFFORDABLE

This Holiday Inn is conveniently located in downtown Vancouver within walking distance to food, entertainment, shopping and other things. Fitness center in the hotel was adequate and there is a gym 2 minutes walk from the hotel where you can get a temporary membership.

It's worth it

Facility and the services are good. Convienent location. Room's clean and well-maintained. The wall's kind of thin and you can hear almost everything from the room next to you, including the TV. Maybe we had an exceptionally loud neighbor? I think it's worth the money you paid for. Personally I will try somewhere else next time. And I'll definitely go a rating star higher if I'm not on a budget.

Very Good Hotel

I liked the location. This Hotel is close to Granville Street for the Bus. Close to Hornby Street for the Ferry to Granville Island, and most of all walking distance from Robson Street for Shopping and Dining. The room was very comfortable and clean. I would recommend this Hotel and would stay there again. Barbara
