Protect Your Vacation Budget-Problem with Rooms
By Dave, 8/21/12
Not all rooms are equal at this hotel. Stayed for 7 nights in '09 and 2 in Aug of '12. booked harbour view eneded up with a view of their parking lot! Don't allow them to rip you off given how much you are spending on your vacation. Ask to see the room BEFORE you check in or avoid the worry and hassle and book elsewhere.

Wanna Go Again!
By JudyG, 3/19/10
I booked my stay through Victoria Clipper Vacations. I didn't know what I was going to get when I arrived, but the location was absolutely beautiful and the room was beyond anything I expected! I ate at two meals at the restaurant and it was excellent as well. It is in walking distance of the Imax, Parliament Bldg., and downtown areas. Can't say enough good about this place!

Perfect place for a stay in Victoria!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/29/09
We stayed here on a package deal including the Clipper ride from Seattle. The hotel is wonderful! We had a harbor-view room and sat and watched all the action out the window after a wonderful day sight-seeing. The location is super! Everybody from the chef to the desk clerks to the chamber maids were pleasant and helpful. I will definately plan another trip to BC and stay nowhere but here!!

Excellent hotel
By PETER, 6/17/09
Had a lovely room and this was not one that had been renovated. The newly renovated rooms are beautiful. Great view of the harbour from our room and also the dinning area. Had a lovely breakfast would recommend the continental. If ever in Victoria again would go back straight away.

I missed this hotel when I got home
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/27/09
We've stayed in dozens of hotels all around the world, but none have been as lovely as this one. We have a fine house, but when we got home, I actually missed this hotel. Amazing. We took our dog with us, and she was treated with much respect and consideration. From the special dog bed to the garden suite, everything was perfect. We had planned to dine at different Victoria restaurants every night of our stay. Instead, we tried the in-house hotel the first night, and liked it so much that we dined there every night of our stay. Scrumptious food! I am a curmudgeon, and hard to please. I love this place. We will certainly be back!

We won't go back
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/31/07
When we booked we asked for a harbour view well we got a view with a tree in front of our window, we were able to change rooms and once again we got a view of the pond and maybe 1/4 view of the harbour, we asked front desk again to give us a harbour view and finally we got it. That was the best part of our hotel. We had breakfast in the hotel it was terrible, my toast was stale and the eggs were terrible, for the amount of money we paid I would expect better. Don't stay at this hotel if you are a tall person everything is low to the ground the shower, sink, the room we had didn't even have queen beds. The hotel was very noisy, when you can hear the people in the next room showering that is not good. I also her the maid vacuming at 7:00 AM. I was not impressed. The staff at this hotel were nice, the room was clean, but overall for the price we paid I wouldn't go back.

Stunning Hotel in a Stunning City
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/17/07
My husband recently attended a convention in Victoria and was booked to stay at the Laurel Point Inn. I decided to tag along for a few days of sightseeing and shopping. The Laurel Point Inn is one of the most spectacular hotel's that I have ever stayed in (and we travel a lot). The stunning views of this beautiful city combined with the beautifully appointed upscale rooms totally surprised and delighted us.The luxurious marble bathrooms with big fluffy housecoats made us feel like we were in a Hollywood set. If you like a trendy, sleek, contemporary hotel - this is definitely the best of the best! We will definitely return to this fabulous little gem!JE - Well travelled wife of a CEO

Loved it here!
By Ivee, 3/14/07
My husband and I stayed here for part of our honeymoon (back in march of '03) and we loved it. It is located near to just about anything you'll want to see, the rooms are big and clean, full of any item you'll need, we can't wait to go back!

Great Value
By Got My Tin Hat On, 6/19/06
This hotel was non-existant on Yahoo. I took the recommendation from the person at Victoria Clipper Vacations, who was exactly right. This hotel had everything execpt that 5* rating based upon ultimate snobiness, and really riduclas prices. Take it from someone who has been all over the world. This hotel has a nice lobby, but needs more people at the desk. It has nice places to eat, but service is not 5*. It makes its suite room customers walk further and through areas not exactly "nice" to their rooms. Overall I cannot give this hotel a 5 Star, but the rooms were incredible, the views impecable, the location, perfect.
