The Sawridge Inn & Conference Ctr, Jasper

I stayed in this hotel for one night with my boyfriend and two of our friends. Check in was ok, other than the reception staff member informing us of a charge of $20 extra for each of the 3rd and 4th guests for the room, despite being quoted the same price for four people on line. Restaurant and lounges were ok, nothing exceptional. Our big issue was the treatment we were given by staff members, following an assault on my boyfriend in the corridor outside our room, by two men from the room next door. No proper first aid kit evident, not once was my boyfriend asked if he needed medical attention having been kicked in the head numerous times and punched, and security treated us like we were an embarrassment to the hotel. Their whole attitude was a disgrace! We're taking it further with the hotel chain and will be advising everyone we know not to stay there!

This hotel is at the end of town. It is very clean. The rooms face an atrium and there is an indoor pool. There was a group staying here on a tour bus. It is a conference center as well. Stayed here one night, it was worth it to be near the Jasper attractions.
