Built in 1975 and renovated in 1991, this modest inn offers accommodations one block from Banff's main street of shopping, entertainment, transportation and tourist sights. The rooms are simple and comfortable, with sofas and modern amenities. Next door is Melissa's Restaurant and Bar, one of Banff's most popular eateries. The inn is surrounded by lush greenery and beautiful old trees. Children 12 and under stay free with their parents. Tea and coffee are offered free every morning from 7am to 11am in the lobby. Rates vary seasonally.

good stay

The hotel was clean and of good size. Its very close to town centre. I found a small park where they had paddle boats for rent near by. The staff was friendly and very helpful. What I liked best about it was the location from the main highway. Very easy to find.
