Don't waste your time.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/21/09
It was dirty, dank, and completely misrepresented by the website. The portable AC hardly worked, the rooms hardly had any windows, despite what you see when you go to the hotel website. Nobody really cared that we were severely disappointed in our room, and only offered to charge us $30 per night more for a mildly better room. They charge a bunch of fees as well that you don't see coming. The flat sheet kept falling off of the bed for us, too. Lame. Don't bother here; there are plenty of other nice places in Teton Village.

Would Not Recommend.
By Tara Ashley, 5/29/09
I first want to say that the hotel itself is in a great location and is very appealing to the eye, however there were several items that fell short for me. First and one of the most important things is that the shower head in our bathroom was only about 5 ft high. Now I do not consider myself to be a tall person but when I have to duck to wet my head, that's pretty bad. We also had a tub that the water ran all night long. You could not turn it off! I called the front desk about it after our first night but nothing was done about it. I also found it weird that after the first night we stayed here the cleaning service removed all the soap products that we opened and replaced them with new ones. There was almost a brand new bar of soap in the shower and they threw it away. The other problem we had was when we tried to get recommendations of places to eat from the front desk. Twice the receptionist told us about places that were not open at the time that we were there. We did have one girl working the front desk call and get us a resevation at Nikai (which I highly recommend if you like sushi). Again I would not recommend this hotel if you are over 5 ft tall or you want much in the way of service from the front desk. Oh and we stayed in one of the "deluxe" lofts.

I've stayed at better
By David, 7/2/08
The room was big and comfortable. However, the air conditioning didn't work and I asked to have it fixed. No one did anything. The hallways were very dirty and dark - large stains on the carpets. There were big stains inside the room, especially on a chair.

Absolutely Disgusting
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/15/07
We stayed there for 1 night in August 2007. I would never stay there again, not even for free. The room was extremely dark & dingy and musty smelling, and the carpet was completely worn out. The bathroom was very tiny, all fixtures were very old and again it was so dark you couldn't see much. The outside walkway to the room was boarded up because of construction right next to the building(made it look like the back of a shack and also made the entry very dark. (Yuck!!) And I was charged $209 plus tax. The worst place I have ever stayed!! Outrageous price for disgusting accomodations!

Yuck-o!
By jacob b, 7/23/06
I recently stayed two nights at this "hotel". NO elevator! We had to drag our suitcases up 3 flights of stairs. The portable a/c was not cooling, sheets were "see-through", blanket was rough as a horse-blanket, bottom sheet was in fact a flat sheet, which would not stay on the mattress! I slept half the night on the gross mattress pad...if you can call it that. We had a sliding glass door that was filthy! I mean filthy, with hands, face, lips, feet, and whatever else could possibly be on there! The carpet was terrible, as was the bathroom. The toilet "ran" throughout our stay. The people at the front desk never smiled, or greeted us. Loved the location, hated the hotel!! And all for 150 bucks a night!

What a dump!!!
By jason, 7/14/06
We stayed there on 7/11/06 and was completely disappointed. There was holes in our linoleum in the bathroom. The carpet looks like its been wore down to almost nothing. The crib had nasty brown stains in the sides of it. The portable airconditioner leaked on the carpet so our carpet was wet right by the front door. The walls are paper thin. We got two rooms for a managers special of 150 per night. It was suppose to be 209 per night. Will probably not stay at another Best Western afer this experience.

Very Disappointed
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/21/05
The shampoo and mouthwash had been used by previous guests; our floor was very lumpy, a portable A/C took up most of the closet space, so we couldn't put our clothes in the closet; there was a pipe draining water that was dripping right above our door and left a puddle of water at our door; very small room for the price...in fact, on our 4-day vacation in Wyoming, this was the most expensive room we stayed in and the worst room.

Great family hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/28/04
We were there in July, 2003. We had a loft suite with a king bed upstairs and two queen beds downstairs. Definitely worth it for a family, but the AC couldn't keep the loft cool. The kids enjoyed throwing laundry up over the railing -- the circular stair was too narrow and steep to carry a large suitcase, but not a problem as it kept the kids busy. Staff was very friendly and helpful, and the room very clean and spacious. The hotel restaurant was geared more for fancy dining, but the Mangy Moose restaurant was only 150 feet away and much better family atmosphere, so not eating in the hotel restaurant was no problem. There's a breakfast and lunch place in the basement of the Mangy Moose building that is decent and clean with a nice selection. Some rooms overlook the pool, but get the usual pool noise. During the summer, there are weekend festivals on the open green area right next to the hotel. We enjoyed the local art fair the week we were there. We would definitely come back -- it's a great value for families.
