Lazy L&B Ranch, Dubois

If you are looking for a "spa" experience, then a dude ranch really isn't for you. If you are looking for a great western riding experience, the Lazy L & B is the place. You get your own horse for the entire week and every ride takes you to a different place with spectacular scenary. Kids and adults ride separately (except for a family ride the first and last day), which turns out to be a great arrangement as the kids have loads of fun by themselves. The cabins are comfortable (again, not spa fancy, but nice) and the food is good. Probably the best feature of the ranch is the people. The owners and staff are the nicest nice bunch of folks who make you feel right at home. The week we visited there were several families that were making return trips to the ranch which speaks volumes for the quality of the place. This is a great family vacation experience.
