Days Inn Gillette, Gillette

i'm an experienced and unpretentious traveler, so i usually know what to expect, but the days inn in gillette was unexpectedly bad. my friends and i booked some rooms here based on the location, the rates and the photos we've seen of this hotel, but they are NOT similar to reality! the rooms were out-dated, unwelcoming (just like the staff), but that would be fine if they were at least clean, which they weren't. the front desk girls were at times both rude and suck-ups, but were at all times ignorant and over-preoccupied with their hair. breakfast was probably as old as the building, because you could chip a tooth on the donuts and bagels and don't even get me started on the entertainment area. as i said, i'm pretty low-maintenance, so i survived the night here by restaurant-hopping around the area, but the overall impression of this place is just ...creepy, starting with the people who roam the halls, to the atmosphere and aspect of it all. maybe management should put some effort and money in this place, or, better yet, just tear the place down.

I stayed at this hotel a month ago and really enjoyed my stay. They had a great breakfast, the hotel was nice and clean and the staff was very friendly. And I can't forget that they had one of the best rates in town. I would definetly stay here again!

The outside safty doors did not lock the safty lock in the room was tore off completly, got in the room and the bathroom was so dirty the bugs wouldn,t even go in, dust was thick all over Relatives in Gillette said this is the worst place in town to stay, and I agree.

i was there some time ago and had the missfortune of having to stick around there for quite a while. the rooms were good enough for a norman bates movie, the facilities a mess, absolutely no entertaining and fun activities, breakfast area in a back room smaller than my home kitchen, with less utilities and breakfast suited for a 3year old and very hungry people willing to digest anything, some of the staff was fun and nice, all of the others (most of the others!!!) weren't. don't go unless you have to, and even so,you might want to consider sleeping in your car or on the sidewalk! it's much more rewarding!

Myself and a co-worker spent two nights at this hotel. We were greeted by two very professional and friendly Desk Attendents. Thoughout our stay we needed various extra services. Attendent "Dan" was most helpful! Anything we wanted, (even moving furniture), he gladly obliged. Everyone had a great sense of humor which made our stay in Gillette very nice.

I have been a patron of Days Inn for years until I stayed here. Basically, the price is not worth the broken everything in the room. Desk Clerk seemed to be more interested in her friends than the customers.

$130 night,dirty , we had to parking on the side street,no breakfast shot glass for coffee cups you have several other hotel , choose another one
