We checked in..with a reservation..no linens in a smoke smelling room...tired and hungry. Had to call the desk, they moved us to another room...this one had a toilet that did not function properly, so once again called the deskand they gave us keys to another room. We had 5 tired people and I was not lugging the luggage to another room, so I asked them to please just come fix the problem in the bathroom...they quickly brought the tool for ME to fix the toilet. Carpets had food on it that should have been vaccumed and it also smeeled of smoke. I did get an I am sorry but that was it. NEVER reccommend this place.

Bad restaurant
By --------, 8/3/08
Didn't like all the dirty tables, watching manager wipe them off poorly, and onto the floor, cold food that was poorly prepared (eggs, hash browns and toast- how do you screw that up?), bad/ cheap/ old coffee. Yuck. Filthy carpet.

Don't waste your money
By JJ, 1/22/08
The service was horrible, rude staff, from the clerk to the waitress. Then they made us change rooms because of a convention, even though when we checked in, said keeping it would not be problem. New room was awful, and the heater could not keep it warm...and I guess when it snows a foot, they figure there is no point in shoveling walkways.

Disgusting
The room was in disrepair-broken furniture, lamps, sinks, and filthy, I mean really disgusting. The visable vents were black with filth, the carpets were wrecked and dirty. I was a afraid to sleep on anything but my sleeping bag. This truly was the worst room I have ever stayed in ANYWHERE. Beware--The Best Western chain in Gillette and Sheridan are particularly rude and especially filthy. Stay anywhere but there.

Do not recommend
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/27/06
This last summer my parents and I booked a room from the road so that we could be sure to have a hotel room on our way to Oregon from WI. We thought Sheridan was a good compromise. I called and booked the hotel which I felt was overpriced (over 100 dollars). We had to cross the street to get to the office. The hotel was crowded and very dirty. The carpets were worn out. We got to our room and it smelled of cheap motel. Furthermore our backdoor was open and would not close. We closed the maintenance person who came immediately but could not fix the door. Who would stay at a place where the door does not lock! It was one of the worst hotels I've ever been to. We went to the front desk told the guy we were leaving and went to the Holiday Inn, which turned out to be very beautiful and clean. Go there instead!

Nice Western Themed Hotel
By JACK J, 8/2/06
The room was furnished with Western themed furniture. It was very clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel was convenient to walk to the wonderful downtown of Sheridan. The breakfast buffet was good. Would stay here again.

A great place to see mountains.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/26/05
This hotel has a big indoor pool, a walkway over the road to the office, and if you can get a room facing to the west you can see the mountains in the distance covered in snow.
