Days Inn Downtown, Green Bay

WE had planned a family vacation to Green Bay for the Packers' Training Camp. There were 6 adults and 10 children. Trying to find accomodations for all of us were trying. We finally booked Motel 6. We got there and was horrrified. We started calling around to find a place to meet our needs and budget. Deeann answered the phone and set us up with awsome rooms and prices She was a life saver! We were all very worn out after an 8 hour drive and she made us feel welcome. The free breakfast helped emensley with our budget. The staff were all very friendly and caring. Thank you .

Stayed here for our first packer game. I was a little afraid since last comments weren't the greatest but place was alright. The rooms aren't super fancy but as a packer fan and trying to keep things cheaper it did fine. They have an amazing breakfast from pancakes to eggs. Too bad the packers lost the game :(

My fiance purchased a two night stay as a suprise 40th birthday present for me so we could drive from Pennsylvania for a Packers game (I am a big fan). Three days after she booked the hotel, we discovered that her granmother, who suffers from severe dementia, was going to have to be moved to assisted living arrangements. My fiance's parents are fairly old themselves, and she is an only child, so the task in large part is going to fall on the two of us. However, this happened about a week before our expected stay, which was past the hotel's cancellation policy deadline. The only time that she can be moved in is over the weekend we were supposed to stay. My fiance' is going to take the room fee as a total loss, which will be upwards of $250.00. I have pleaded with the management to waive the policy in light of this family situation and give us at least a partial refund, but have been getting a fairly rude run-a-round. We have spoken to several supervisors and they keep avoiding even giving us any real response. The latest is that they have to "speak with the owner". I have no doubt that the owner will most likely be very inflexible due to the fact that when they finally contact him/her, it will be the day before our scheduled arrival. We have been at this for four days. I plan to add another response on this review site in referrence to the outcome, but I would say that I would not recommend this hotel to any traveller who expects even the basic courtesy.

The place looks great! the people were nice and helpful. when we got to our room the maid greeted us told us her name and made us welcome. she did not have a problem when we ask her for extra towels as soon as we came. We will go back there.

We will go back to this lacation again. We had read a degative review on this hotel, but were very happy with the room and staff.
