Front Staff including the Restaurant were friendly and extremely helpful. Rooms were very nice as well!

I will write detailed review when I check out , but this is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. I read all comments including the one from 2005 from a european who stayed here on business. I am also europian and unfortunately this is a convenient location. Everything that happend to that person happened to me. From day one they wanted me to leave, I thought, as naive as I am that it was illegal to discriminate guests based on race, origin etc. Apparently, I was wrong. Priority Club, Holiday Inn chain,yes that is all joke. If they were serious about their business, and oh so caring for their guests they would exclude this location from the chain/ it's a franchise/.

This hotel is beautiful. I would recommend. I stayed here on business and to my surprise this hotel was great. Clean with all the ammenities, staff is professional and helpful. There are tons of resturants near plus a fulll service resturant on site.

This hotel was wonderful. My husband and our 13 month old daughter met my cousin and her family for a mini-vaction for the weekend. I had done online research and this hotel seemed amazing. My family and I are from Albany,NY amd my cousin and her family are from Newport,TN. We dont get to see each other a whole lot so we came up with a plan, vowing to meet ever few months in Martinsburg,WV. I dont get to see them often but I can tell you that martinsburg is very convienent it is located right off of I-81, and the hotel is pretty much close to everything. The mall is ok, the food was pretty decent. The hotel was under construction but honestly we never heard any of the useual construction noises. The room look just like the pictures do. The staff was very helpful and accomodating. We had a womderful time! We are headed back to Martinsbug in October, and my family wouldnt stay any where else but he Holiday Inn in Martinsbug! The owners should be so proud of the establishment. My cousin and I travel six hours a piece to met in our special place, I look foward to seeing my cousin, but truthfully I cant wait to see the hotel, because whenever we left it was still under some final renovations. Thank you holiday inn for having a wonderful place that is great and affordable!!!! I recommend this hotel to every one!

Good price and customer service; good location. Give it a try and you won't be disapointed. However, the cleaning lady knocks on the door at 9 a.m.

This hotel was in a great location. It had easy on/off access to I-81. There were two gas stations and restaurants within a block. The Martinsburg Mall was about a mile away with lots of eateries and strip malls between the hotel and mall. It took 30 minutes, if that, to get to Charles Town. It's also a very short distance to either Maryland or Virginia. The hotel is currently being renovated, and we had the opportunity to stay in the newly built portion. The room was large, had a comfortable bed with ample pillows, and a large bathroom. I would definitely say that we would stay there again if we have the chance. We didn't visit the pool or restaurant or lounge, so I cannot attest to those features.

This was a great place to stay. The rooms looked just like they did in the pictures. The bathroom was nice and most importantly clean. They are doing some renovations and I can't wait to see it when it is finished. The staff was so nice and friendly. Everything was clean. Must try the french toast! Overall it was a great experience. Will stay there again.

I have stayed in may hotels over the years and I have found the Holiday Inn Martinsburg to be one of the best! The service stands out the most. The front desk staff was attentive to every need and went the extra mile to provide service that was beyond expectation! Heatherfields served a delicious breakfast as well. We will be sure to return on our next visit!

This hotel has a GREAT indoor pool (biggest I've seen at a hotel!), and a terrific staff, which was helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and beautiful, and the restaurant serves great food at an affordable rate. They were undergoing extensive renovations at the time of our visit, but it didn't affect our stay in the slightest. Their work is well worth the effort - the newly renovated guest rooms are amazing with flat-screen television sets, modern decor, and the most comfortable bed I've stayed in at a hotel. The FREE high-speed internet connection (both wireless AND ethernet!) was perfect for my husband while the kids and I were at the pool! We will return again and again - we can't wait to see the final product after the renovations are complete.

For work reason I stayed in this hotel for about 5 month in different periods in the last 3 years. I am a european and I am used to travel in many places around the world. I stayed in many hotels of different categories but I never experience a bad staying like this last one. Before I experienced: - room dirty so I have to fight with manager and the housekeeper to find out a standard that was acceptable. At the end it was. - I stayed in many rooms and I hope you don't suffer the vicinity of Interstate 81 where bullet trailers run all 24 hr a day, higher you get the noise will become louder. - the service at the restaurant for breakfast in the morning is quite slow so be prepared in advance to avoid delays in your daily schedule. I have to train them to my european taste: you can't eat full breakfast each morning if you don't want to gain 10 pounds in a month. The cooker is good, the service is nice but some time, especially when the resturant is quite empty you feel not relaxed atmosphere. You will understand immediately which is the best waiter. - be lucky to avoid discussion with the manager; it is not a friendly subject. He is a straight man, so don't expect you will have any chance to be satisfied if you complaint to priority club: they can do nothing really. The only chance is you don't come back. - First time in my life I was considered not welcomed in a hotel utilizing compassionate lies not worth to be replied. So if you have to stay there for short period it is ok, for long time look for other location. PS: presently the hotel is partly renewed (finally) but all floors are like a scrapeyard. Works start at 8.00 am, so I hope that you have already woke up for that time, otherwise you will receive an accomplished morning call maybe with a lift or a hammer beat.
