$53.00 hotel not worth 29.00
By Sonia, 09/03/09
the shower was paited and flaking. It had mold all over. It had long black hair on the tolet lid and floor. Smelled musty. Out side the door had food and trash that had been there for sometime? they just don't know how to use water. Still under renavation never stops. Pool still not open and cable not working. Way under staffed.

NEVER AGAIN!!
By Kimmie, 05/03/09
Let me start by saying I can't believe that this is the kind of Hotels people have to stay when coming long distance for the Hospitals or to watch there beloved Mountaineers. This Hotel is nasty, smells terrible, and nothing seem to work. In major need of beening knocked down and just build from scratch.

$50 hotel for $90
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/25/08
Run-down; tub wouldn't drain, electrical fixtures dangled from the walls by their cords, ceiling tiles sagged from water damage. Complaining about the tub brought an ineffective shot of Drano and nothing more. It seems that maintenence is understaffed or underskilled or both. Housekeeping replaced linens and made beds, but did not clean. On the plus side, the desk staff was friendly and the desk/breakfast areas were nice. It's all stuff that wouldn't have shocked me in a $50 hotel, but at $90, I felt cheated.

Terrible place
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/02/08
We stayed here last summer, during a week of unbearable heat. The room they put us in had a broken A/C, no toilet paper, mold in the shower, and a toilet that had not been flushed in a while. Called the front desk to complain, especially upon discovering that the toilet could not flush. The staff laughed and said they weren't sure how to fix it. After an hour and several more calls, they moved us to a "deluxe suite," or something. It was bigger and had working A/C, but I've certainly would have liked a clean bathroom. This place is utterly disgusting with useless staff. I recommend staying away. Oh, and the promised "wireless internet" was neither wireless, nor a connection to the internet. Nothing worked.

won't go back
By PatrickK, 12/13/06
Staff booked me for wrong night and charged me for a no-show...backtalked me;staff didn't know how to credit me but I pressed the issue before shift changed and I got screwed; eventually they worked this out. But, place was booked due to college so they put me in handicapped room - not cool. TV remote didn't work; took 3 maintenance guys to sort it out.

DON'T GO
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/28/06
I would never go back. Room needed painting VERY BADLY. The web site says newley renivated rooms. A lie. Returned after a football game and tail gating to find our room was never made up (5pm) Very poor breakfast. Oh the shower head could not be adjusted and the wall tile was painted and flacking. No QUALITY at this location.

No Deal
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/22/06
The heat was shut off, so no heat. The toilet ran, maintenance came once and fixed, flushed it once, and it started running again the next day, maintenance never came back when called. Mold in shower. TV buzzed. Outdated.

Evicted!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/22/06
We booked a room for two nights...we thought. After spending a day shopping and visiting with our daughter, shopping and touring Morgantown, we were ready for a good night's rest before our 4 hr. drive home the following day. However, our room was booked to someone else for the second night because they checked us out without our knowledge. Our belongings were still in the room! Needless to say, we were very upset having to make other arrangements at the last minute. When going to pack up our things & return our room key, the manager had sent a staff memeber to clean the room in preparation for the next reservation! The front desk manager was not even apologetic. We will never stay there again; nor will ever recommend this hotel to anyone!
