Red Lion Staff is RUDE !!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/25/11
my husband and will never ever stay at this Red LIon at all !!!! we attended a company blk n white dinner and walked around for 1 45 mintues looking for a place to sit at with our plates full of food. My husband asked three staff members of the hotel if they could please bring out another table for four people. and our return remark was ..." sorry sir , looks like your goning to be standing to eat your food" we spent $60.00 to attened this event and at least expected the staff to be consirate and helpful. the second staff member that we asked ...said ..let me look into this and talk to someone in charge ..and guess what that staff member never reutrned to let us know any information!! and the drinks in juice galsses were $5.00 for drinks. The food looked appealing , but we never ate ..oh that right we were told to stand to eat our meal. You all suck hard core and i hope that that company left you all a pigs mess to clean up !!

2nd time--even worse!
By GreenQueen, 4/1/08
We stayed in this hotel about 3 yrs ago and experienced difficulty w/ the service. We chalked it up to a bad experience and decided to give Red Lion in Pasco another try. Boy, was that a mistake! First of all, I requested a crib (which cost an add't $15). We waited 90 minutes for it to arrive at our room. The staff informed us there was a "shift change" and the crib request hadn't been relayed to the incoming staff. Ok...fine... I began giving my children baths. I noticed several hairs in the tub from the previous guest. this grossed me out! During our trip, we kept our car at the hotel. When we arrived back at the airport, I called for the hotel shuttle. I was informed the driver would arrive in a few mintues. Needless to say, 30 minutes went by...no shuttle. I called the hotel back and didn't get an answer from the front desk. I waited another 5 minutes and called again. This time, I was greeted with a very rude front desk employee. She proceeded to call me "DUDE" and yelled something at me about another "shift change". What is it w/ this hotel and shift changes??? Whatever happened to polite, courtious customer service? You DO NOT find it at the Pasco Red Lion, that is for sure! I called the following day to report my complaint to the front desk manager, Andy. He was nice & did take my complaint. However, that was ALL he did. He didn't offer any complimentary service for our treatment at the hotel. He obviously isn't too concerned about our return to the hotel. We will not be staying at this hotel in the future. Even if the saying is "3rd time is a charm".

Did not like the stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/10/07
The Red Lion felt old. The room was spacey but very cold and unasuming. We were there for a meeting in the evening after the meeting there was no dining room facility open. Our 2006 vehicle was keyed in the parking lot in a well lit area close to a exit. When we informed the desk clerk in the morning he was unapologetic and informed us they were unable to assist us. We asked if the had security cameras available and they do not. Not a very welcome facility

Landmark hotel getting a new face lift!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/23/06
Built in the late 1960's, it still has that heavy dark wood carvings and old style, but it's a big one and can hold the biggest events for the Tri-Cities. Infact the state Wine events hold their wine fair there and my WA state Realtor Business conference will be held there in 2008. It is next to the air port, community college and Sun Willows golf course. I love Bin 20, a new wine bar restaurant and gourmet food. There is the garden cafe and the Grizzly sports bar. The garden cafe if it is busy can get alittle unorganized. The Bin 20 and cafe pay their bill at the same place which is confusing, need to seperate it or have the customer pay at the table in the Bin 20. I have always had great service. Except when they get over loaded at the front desk then their organizational skills lack. All the air port pilots and flight staff book there so watch out for trying to check out at their times, check with the desk when they check in or check out. I think the lobby needs more furniture to sit on. At big events or even checking in or out, it would be nicer to have more sitting areas. They need a gift shop to get toliet supplies and other items. They use to have one and use to have a coffee bar too. They need to bring those back.
