The worst
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/5/06
I made a phone reservation last Saturday (Sep 2 2006) and was quoted a rate of $49.95. When I went to check in, I was told the rate was $74.95. I told the manager I was quoted a rate of $49.95; he said that was impossible. I said I would complain to the Better Business Bureau so the manager cancelled my reservation and told me to get off his property. I called the next day (anonymous) and asked about rates. I was told "it depends". Avoid this place like the plague.

It was excellent!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/25/05
I was there two years ago and it was terrible..I didn't want to go back. But my friend who lives in yakima tell me to stay there when I come to Yakima.. So I gave one more try and I liked a lot.. It was under new management. The carpet was new, serving free breakfast, clean rooms.. Thank you, Nendel's Inn..

Happy Golfing Trip
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/16/05
my husband and I decided to give nendels a try after having a terrible nights sleep at a motel down the street, with traffic all night long. The towels were dirty and the bed sheets didn't seem like it was washed. We had the quietest nights sleep there and also ran into another couple that were there for a golfing trip. We would definitely recommend them for good quiet nights sleep.

Definitely going back!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/26/05
Nice friendly managment. Very clean and affordable! I understand they are making physical improvements gradually...new carpets, new furniture, etc. When informed, management fixed the problem of the pool being to cold and Jaccuzi too hot right away! ;) I was also impressed with the continental breakfast that included cereal and hard boiled eggs, as well as having a frig. AND microwave in the room with free local phone calls/cable/HBO. They were also very accommodating to my dust allergy regarding linens (including blankets and bedspreads) that have to be freshly laundered in hot water to kill the dust. Thanks for great conversation and accommodations to Suzanne, at the front desk!

Mini vacation
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/22/05
I liked the location, cleanliness and the new management team. They really seemed like they cared, compared to my last trip back in 02/03. My husband and I really had a pleasant mini family vacation, while the kids enjoyed the indoor pool.

You'll feel welcomed here
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/17/05
I've stayed at Nendels back in 2003 and thought I'd never return. However, when my Grandmother ended up needing to visit the Heart Center, the hospital staff recommended that we stay at Nendels. I am so glad that I gave them another try. The new management team is wonderful!! They made copies of maps for us so that we could find our destinations, and gave thorough directions, the service was excellent, location was nearby everything, nice continental breakfast, and great value. I would definitely recommand to anyone new to yakima.

Worse than POOR
By we heard too much, 7/20/04
This was a terrible place! Onsight managers that must have been related to the owner to get the job. Poor service, unprofessional WORDS CANNNOT DESCRIBE HOW BAD THIS WAS.The male clerk was made at the female clerk (his wife?)because we interrupted his TV program.
The rating for this is misleading. Don't go.
The hallway was dirty and smelled of pot (marijuana) and incense. The room wouldn't pass for bearly okay, I couldn't stay there and they would not refund my money. I left and went to the Double Tree across the parking lot.

Take out the trash
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/8/04
This is undoubtably the worst hotel experience that you could ever have. The hotel staff is complete trash and the hotel quality reflects that. The manager of the hotel is no better than his staff and if you want to be treated as though you really don't matter, try meeting him to discuss your distaste with your treatment by the staff. The first room I was in at this establishment had a useless air conditioner and was noisy, so I requested a different room as I left the first morning after a poor nights sleep. Upon arriving that night I found I had no room (yes, I had paid for two nights in advance) and was extorted for an extra ten dollars to acquire a different room for my second (and last night ever) at this establishment. Why did I stay the second night at all? A NO REFUND policy and the group I was with was staying there are the only two reasons I can think of.... If you are still considering staying here, I advise you to sleep on the street.... it would be preferable.

Affordable and comfortable
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/7/04
My wife and I had a good experience when we stayed here during our winery tours. It's not the newest Inn, but the rooms were clean, and the swimming pool and hot tub are all indoors.

Very affordable, and worth the $50 we spent. I guess it is under new managemnet now, the staff was very friendly.
