HORRIBLE!!
By Nancy, 11/22/09
Econo Lodge Sea-Tac North near the airport in Seattle is the worst motel I've ever stayed at. First the clerk said my room number outloud when I checked in. Loud enough for the others in the lobby to hear. The couple in the room next to me and was having a heated domestic dispute. Yelling, swearing, banging noises and slamming doors. I called the front desk and asked for a different room. He said no, that he would call them and get them to settle down. An hour later they were still at it, it seemed like it was escalating, I was concerned for my safety. At about midnight I went down to the front desk and said I needed a new room. The clerk said no, he didn't want housekeeping to have to make up an extra room the next day. At that point the people occupying the room next to me walked through the lobby beers in hand. The clerk then stopped them and pointed me out to them and said I was complaining about the noise. My safety and identity had been completely violated. I found a new motel and called a taxi. Having to change motels at midnight traveling alone in a strange city was a horrible experience. As a customer I have never been treated with more disrespect, indifference and contempt. Please don't stay at Econo Lodge Sea-Tac North, I would rate them disgraceful! I am surprised Choice Hotels has kept this as one of their properties.

Brown walls
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/12/08
This place is very dirty. Don't touch the walls, doors, carpets, remote controls, in fact, don't even go there. Not suitable for anyone to stay here. If the staff would speak english, it might help too.

NASTY PLACE VERY SKETCHY
By Sarah, 09/17/08
This hotel was very dirty, in a sketchy neighborhood, polite staff, mold in shower, bugs in shower, doors to hotel were left open at all times-thus compromising the safety of the location (especially if you are a woman as anyone could just come and go), we complained about the mold and they said there was no mold and there was nothing that they could do. It was absolutely gross (by far the worst place I have ever stayed) THEN THEY CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD TWICE AS MUCH AND I CALLED THEM FIVE TIMES TO GET IT FIXED WITH NO RESPONSE.

Worst. Parking. Service. EVER!
By Sondra, 09/15/08
I can't even believe this nerve of this place. We pulled in, asked where to park, they told us anywhere. We parked out front. Their van shuttle took us to the airport. (btw, the driver sucks!) Left for a week, came back to see our car was parked on the side of the road next to the hotel. Not only that, we came back and the battery was dead because they were so stupid enough to leave a light on in the car. Since the battery was dead, the alarm system shut off too. So incase anyone actually did break in, the hotel wouldn't have known anyways. They may have low rates, but I would never park there again in my life. They told us they have cameras IN THE PARKING LOT. How is on the side of the road, a parking lot? It's not. Keep in mind, this place is in the middle of Crackville. We literally saw people across the street Smoking crack from a crack pipe. The company never apologized for any of this. Never offered a refund. They were nothing but completely dishonest with us, and nothing but a bunch of idiots running the place as well. If you do decide to actually park your vehicle here, (I'd call you an idiot) DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR KEYS. They told us to park anywhere, we did. They have no reason to move our car. They have a huge massive parking lot, they chose to move our car to the side of the road. Now, two days later... Both of my front wheels need air put in them. I also forgot to mention that when we arrived at the car, our passenger side front tire was SMASHED against the curb. I'm surpirsed it stayed that long without really deflating or even blowing out. There are a couple scratches on the car, that are new. They parked a massive van less than 6 inches in front of us, and a P.O.S. car 2 inches behind us, so we had no way of getting out. except getting up on the curb. When we arrived at the hotel, it took them 30 minutes to pick us up. They are literally 5 minutes down the road. We called, the guy showed up, and blew right past us. I called again, said he has to come back to the hotel, and then he'll let the driver know. Well, it took him 30 minutes after I called. This place was nothing but a waste of time and money. DO NOT PARK HERE.
