Crowne Plaza Virgina Beach, Virginia Beach

I have been having events and staying at this hotel for approximately 15 years and have found the staff, service, rooms, food, etc. to be excellent. I definitely would give 4 stars to this super neat hotel. I have stayed in rooms with a jacuzzi and NEVER have I found a problem or found any of the rooms unclean. They even change the spread/blankets after each guest . . . which is something a lot of hotels neglect to do. The staff has always gone the extra mile to make my events memorable and the food has always been top shelf and mouth watering. I highly recommend this hotel to all my friends and family. Freddi

Some of the people who dislike this hotel are on drugs....this was easily one of the top 10 hotels I have stayed in and I travel almost everyother week due to business. You will not regret it. They also have a beautiful indoor pond/waterfall with fish in it. It really brings out the beauty in the hotel.

My trip to Virginia Beach was the first and it was not the most pleasant. The hotel could have been alittle more clean and I would never use this facility again. angry

Upon arival to this so called majastic palace i was astonish to find the inside of this hotel to be rather lacking in the christian background that I was hoping for, instead what I found was a more secular backgrounded place. Despite the background the inteior design lacked a certain element that would make it stand out instead it was very blaind. Once i checked i went over to the restaurant located in the hotel as i went there i passed a fish tank that was claimed to hold the egyptian spider fish but to my dismay it was a scrawny indian yellow spotted snaapper. After a brisk meal that tasted very bad, I went to myroom andy also found it to be very boirng and it was very unclean. Although they had left out choclate covered starwbeerrys and bannanas like i had asked i found them to have a non organic taste like i was accustommed to at the GREAT HOTEL THE HILTON LOCATED AT THE BEACH. Also much to my dismay the pool located in th rear corridor of Sal's Gentlmens club was small.

When I arrived, the room I was given was not clean. I called the front desk and the manager on duty was extremely kind in getting me to a better and spotless room. I am in VA Beach quite regularly and they will continue to be my hotel of choice.

MY HUSBAND AND I HAVE 2 BOYS IN COLLEGE SO MONEY IS REAL TIGHT BUT EVERY 3 MONTHS WE TRY TO GO OUT AND HAVE NIGHT AWAY FROM HOME.WE HAVE STAYED AT MANY CROWNE PLAZA'S AND ENJOYED THEM.LAST WEEKEND WE WENT TO THIS ONE IN VA. BEACH.WE GOT A ROOM WITH A JACUZZI TUB.THIS IS A BIG DEAL BECAUSE WE TRY TO HAVE EVERYTHING AS ROMANTIC AS POSSIBLE. WE BEEN MARRIED 32 YEARS.LOLFIRST OF ALL THE PEOPLE WERE AWESOME. NICEST AROUND.ROOM WAS NICE ALSO.WE WENT OUT TO DINNER AND WE CAME BACK WE LOOKED AT THE TUB AND IT WAS SO FILTHY IT HAD MOLD AND MILDEW ALL OVER IT. WE CALLED DOWNSTAIRS AND A GENTLEMAN CAME AND TRIED TO CLEAN IT. HE EVEN CALLED DOWNSTAIRS AND TOLD THEM HOW BAD IT WAS. AFTER HE LEFT WE LOOKED AT IT AGAIN AND AROUND THE SPIKET IT WAS MOLD AND MILDEW ALSO. IT GROSSED US OUT SO BAD WE COULD NOT USE IT.SO I WENT TO TAKE A BATH IN BATHROOM AND THAT WAS DIRTY ALSO. HAIR ALL OVER IT. IT WAS SUCH A DISAPPOINTMENT. WE NEVER FELT CLEAN IN THE ROOM. BY THAT TIME IT WAS 9 IN THE EVENING.THEY DID REFUND 80.00 OFF THE ROOM. NORMALLY THE ROOM IS 190.00 BUT MONEY WAS NOT THE OPTION.IT WILL BE AWHILE BEFORE WE CAN GO AGAIN. I WILL NOT STAY THERE AGAIN BECAUSE IF YOU CAN SEE THAT MUCH FILTH AND EVEN THE PEOPLE SAY HOW BAD IT IS WHAT IS IT YOU CAN NOT SEE.THERE ARE ALOT OF NICE HOTELS IN THE AREA. THE HOLIDAY INN DOWN AT THE BEACH IS REALLY NICE THE SUNSPREE.MARRIOT IN NORFOLK AWESOME.

Excellent Hotel Service. The location was great and centralized for touring and seeing the city of Virginia Beach and convenient for exiting in and out of the city. The hotel had all the appropriate amendities necessary to make our stay more then comfortable, it was also memorable.
