Needs some work

I booked my wedding reception at the Sheraton Park South and found that our room accomodations for that weekend were not worth the market prices. We booked a junior suite and due to a reservations error, could not stay in 1 room for both nights, we had to move rooms.
The first jr. suite we were in had peeling wallpaper and water stains on the ceiling. There was also a huge red stain on the carpet, and the bathroom door would not close all the way. There were marks in the wall were funiture had been pushed in too far and crumbled plaster on the floor.
Also, the cleaning staff apparently never looks up, as on top of a mirror in the room, there was a cigar sitting on the frame. The second room we were in was not much better. I was surprised that a Sheraton property would have such obvious room flaws. I am by no means a perfectionist and these issues were very apparent - easy to see in the room. The 2nd junior suite we were moved to was not much better.
We found the front desk to be very unorganized (hence the room mix up) and there seems to be a lot of turnover in staff there. On the positive, we did find the food to be very good in the restaurant although the service to be slow. Overall though, for the price I don't think this hotel is worth the time or money - you can find better accomodations in the area.
