A nice , No frills getaway
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/23/10
We booked are room online for two nights . The room was clean the bed was very comfortable . We had a mini fridge which worked out great and the Bentely restaurant had great breakfasts . We were close to the metro and the highways , only minutes from D.C. The pool was a welcome relief from thr 94 degree temps those days . The hotel staff was friendly and although we were facing a busy street we slept great , no noise at all . We will definitely return on our next visit to D.C.

Motel quality
By Caroline, 6/15/10
The location was relatively easy to find, but the neighborhood seemed a bit shady (though clean). The check in was professional and efficient. The room was outdated but clean except there were two beetles in the room. There was ample parking, but it seemed the motel was pretty vacant too. Even with the vacancies however the front desk people put a family with three young children next door to me. I would have worn earplugs but I was trying to watch something on the tv. And they were doing tiling outside my room from 6-9PM on a Sunday? I would recommend to anyone to shell out an extra $20/night to stay at a nicer place, it would be worth it.

decent room with no perks
By Maureen, 5/18/08
First time in DC. Rooms were clean & neat. Hotel was easy to find for someone from out of town. Disappointed that the room didn't include a continental breakfast, refrigerator, or microwave like most Quality/Comfort Inns do. Hard for a family to travel without having such perks. Never did find or see the internet access that was advertised. Lobby was clean & neat and front desk clerk very helpful & polite. Maid service was fast-we hardly got down the street & they were in cleaning it. Extra towels were provided when requested. If all you are looking for is a clean & neat room this is your hotel.

Never Again
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/27/07
This was the worst place I have ever stayed at. Non-smoking rooms??? They smelled like someone smoked in there for years!!! Everything smelled bad!!!. We had allergy attacks because of the tobacco residue and we did not sleep good, very uncomfortable (the beds had mattress fatigue and you ended up in a valley in the middle of the bed. We tried to book into another hotel but there wasn't anything available so my sister slept in the car. The roll around bed that we needed looked and felt like something from WWII and I would have slept on the floor except it was filthy!. Even the exchanged room was bad. Next time I'm booking into a Hampton's all the way! The best thing about this Quality Inn was driving away after checking out. Although the management gave us another room they argued with us about it saying that they are not responsible for what people do in the rooms (he was also argumentive to other patrons as well on different issues)DO NOT STAY HERE OR YOU WILL REGRET IT..... On a scale of 1 to 10 this rates -20

What a Vacation
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/16/07
Arrived late on Sunday due to traffic on I95. Got a next to the end room from the office. Very clean room. AC little noisey but kept the room cool when it was 95 degrees outside. Maid service was excellent! Got the extra towels that I asked for. Bed was not like mine but I slept great. Only heard the Firetrucks that went by late at night all other noise not heard. Would go back and stay again. Bentleys food was great and so was the service. Try the Banaberry pancakes you get 5 count them 5 pancakes for a low price!

We can't wait to NEVER GO BACK
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/14/06
Smelly, room. REALLY SMELLY ROOM dishonest employees. manager never available for complaints. don't go. Try the Best Western right across the street. Not an enjoyable nights sleep. Go somewhere else. You don't need to patronize this place.

will never return
By G, 7/6/06
I stayed in the front by the pool. Cons- Maid walked in one afternoon unannounced, towels were very rough, came back home with bug bites on arms and legs, room smelled like smoke, AC set too warm. Pros- thick walls to block neighboring sounds. I will never stay at this hotel again.

Decent for no-frills travelers
I picked this place b/c it was the cheapest ($80 w/AAA) I could find convenient to DC w/ free wireless internet access. Very convenient location, and an easy Dulles trip (few turns; hard to get lost). Seems to fill up fast: reservations sold out on Yahoo a few weeks early so I booked w/Quality Inn directly right before they sold out. Lodging is not fancy and pretty old; but I wanted something practical and affordable so it was OK for me. Service was adequate. I was disappointed that my room had a weak wireless signal (2 of 5 bars). High-traffic area makes turns in/out of hotel a bit challenging.

Never again
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/14/06
First day-had to change rooms, A/C wouldn't cool. After 30 minutes and 4 hotel employees having checked the thermostat we got the SECOND room. It was 2d floor and out back in the next building but, the A/C worked fine. I did notice that all three doors in the room had been kicked in and somewhat repaired. Second day - no towels were left after room cleaning. The desk clerk couldn't find towels and said he would get some from an unoccupied room but that didn't happen. At Bentley's-the "fine dining" restaurant, it was the worst of service with the exception of the hostess who seated us and provided the menu and one of the cooks who after observing that we had already waited for 30 minutes for a waitress, came from the kitchen and took our orders and wrote them on a placemat. He did prepare very nice and plentiful meals for the four of us and HE apologized for the wait staff. For the rate charged, I'll pay alittle more and stay somewhere else. But, if you just need a bed, bathroom and want to cookout in the parking lot, this place is fine. But for my wife and I it was VERY frustrating and I'm being nice.
