Great hotel??? You must be kidding me!
By izunia1981, 01/16/09
All those people that wrote such nice things about this hotel probably work there! There is nothing nice about it. The pictures of the rooms you can see on the website are fake, the rooms look totally different and are dirty and smelly. The bathrooms are the worst, just old and nasty. The location is okay but if you want a nice, new hotel for the same price as this one, there is Hampton Inn right next to it: http://www.rutlandhampton.com/

A Great Hotel in Vermont
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/20/08
We checked in late at night after a terrible 13 hour trip from Pennslyvania in a blinding snowstorm. The man behind the front desk went and got us coffee and had someone meet us and help with our luggage. The next morning we had a great breakfast and Debbie our waitress was very helpful giving us advice on place to visit in the area and where to go for lunch. We had luch on Killington Mountain at the Gristmill Restaurant and it was perfect. That night we had steaks in Paynter's Restaurant at the hotel. The steaks were cooked perfectly and the service was great. We will always stay at this hotel when we are in Vermont.

best Holiday Inn experience ever
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/12/08
It was a late Sunday evening when family arrived, felt exhausted and frazzled. Desk personnel very helpful, friendly, warm, personable, able to answer questions re local services, directions. Check in process was quick, efficient. Room was clean, furnishings attractive. Quiet. Bed comfortable. I'd recommend and go back anytime I'm in the area.

Really good value and service
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/13/07
The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. I was surprised to find a refrigerator and micowave in the room and the offer of a shuttle to the movies was appreciated.

Very dissapointing
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/28/07
Tub wouldn't drain, restaurant not good value for prices, hotel manager did not support Holiday Inn Hospitality Pledge for customer satisfaction. Other hotels nearby for 1/2 the money and similiar amenities .

Nice room for the money
By dogmatic, 04/06/04
my room had a large satellite tv with pay-per-view movies on demand, fridge and coffee maker. access to olympic swimming pool, hot tub/jacuzzi, nice bar/restaurant. they also sometimes book live events in their conference room. the weekend i stayed there was a golden gloves boxing tournament, which was only $10 to get in. overall a really nice place. book online, if you call for a reservation, expect to pay 2-3 times as much!
