Not a great place to stay

Not the best lodging for the price. The room was clean, but very musty and old looking. The beds were hard to say the least, and the pillows could have doubled for a sheet of typing paper. We finally had to shut the AC off and open the windows to get rid of the room smell. It isn't the Ritz.

Very relaxing. No problems what so ever. Chinese buffet on site,walmart behind place.I didnt like that it didnt have a dunkin donuts on the same side of the street. Front desk personel were excellent and very helpful.

love it

Have stayed here many times-service is excellent. Area is a little too busy, but it is close to everything and is very quiet. It's not the Hampton Inn, but it's clean, comfortable, and convenient. When we made arrangements to check out late, at an additional cost, and then went to pay, we were told "it's not that much later-no need to pay extra"-that's the kind of place it is. One thought-how about setting up the two end rooms for people with well behaved pets (or at least my well behaved dogs).

The Most Romantic Stay

This was the first vacation that my boyfriend and i have taken in the plus year that we have been together and let me say it could not have been better. The hotel serive was wonderful they were very helpful and nice. The room was beautiful we had the jacuzzi sweet and it was worth every penny. I felt at home the second i walked in. The hotel location could not have been any better. You had a super mart, shopping center, fast food, among a whole list of other stores all within 5 min from you. Also a bowling alley right across the street. My experience was great I will defiently be going back. It is worth the stay if you have the chance I would say to stay here.

Easy access, set back from road. Not noisy, considering it was off a main drag. Kept up nicely. A good New England air about the place.

not bad for a little town

I liked the close proximity to the client, large room, and the fact that the room had a fridge, microwave, and free internet access. I did not like the confusion on how to get the heat working and the fact that the remote for the TV was missing.

Nice place to stay

Best Western New Englander was a good place to stay, especially for the time of year! We spent the weekend of 10/15/04 in Bennington. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. It was large and had a comfortable king sized bed. Parking was plentiful and the hotel was in a good location.
