We will never go back!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/16/10
We arrived very early in the morning, exhausted from a long drive. I believe we would have been better off sleeping in the car. At least we keep it clean. We slept a few hours and then noticed when we awoke and got ready that the room was filthy. The bathroom was in desperate need of repair, and there was mold on the ceilings in the bathroom. Our children went to their "free" breakfast but came back disappointed and hungry because the food was so bad. We left close to Noon the same day to continue our trip. I called the Motel three times. The first time I lodged my complaint and was told I would receive a call back from the manager. I never did. The second time I called, the same lady put the phone down on the counter when I told her who I was. I eventually hung up when I knew she would not pick up. I could hear them talking the entire time. The third time I was told that I would receive a discount on my next visit, IF I ever came back. There was nothing else they would do, and she hung up on me. NO, I will never go back there, ever.

Absolutley Disgusting Motel!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/09/09
This was the worst place ive ever stayed at with the worst costomer service ever! The old white lady that calls the owner thats from india daddy, was completlely un professional! I was shocked at the way she talked to the other employees right in front of me! I was even more shocked when I went to the front to discuss the condition of my room and she started to yell at me saying " If you dont like it, Then go somewhere else!" My husband woke up covered in bed bug bites and our phone did not work. There was urine and feces stains all over the carpet! The whole place is a safety hazzard!

Welcome to the Bates Motel!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/08/09
This hotel has certainly seen better days! I would never stay there again! And the reason we stayed is becuase we were locked in with priceline. Our room was huge, I did like the space. But all in all, the bath-tub faucet had lime growing on it, would have been easily cleaned 10 years ago. Had to hold down the toilet handle for the toilet to flush all the way. The laundry facility was scary. It made me feel extremely uncomfotable staying there, not the best location to stay in Provo, this hotel is run-down, and struggling. I would not recomment this to other people, pay a little more for peace of mind. seriously. My kids were scared, and we propped a chair at the door because you never know who has a key to get in.

Worst hotel in America
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/27/09
I am thinking of contacting the health department about this despicable excuse for a hotel. Moldy walls, blood stains and something resembling semen on the dresser, walls, and beds. Broken headboards that fell off and hit me in the middle of the night in my sleep. A dead beetle was lying on my friends pillow, and there was also small blood stains on the blankets and a pubic hair. No iron, fire burns on the carpet, rusty sinks, grimy coffee pot, a strong urine/smoky smell and many other things I could complain about. The service was shocking and did not give us a refund. We fled to the La Quinta Inn across the street at 4 am. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra 10-30 bucks on something livable.

Absolutely the worst!!! Do NOT stay here
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/04/08
I should have known from the horrific mess in the lobby from the bird cage! We got an upstairs room and had to walk on dangerously crumbling concrete to get there. Entering the room, we were speechless ! Cabinets were broken, floor tiles were filthy and coming up, the bathroom was disgusting! The room smelled, food was on the sofa and the place was infested with flies ! We headed back to the office for a refund immediately and headed out of Provo completely. It was worth the hour drive, in the middle of the night just to put distance between this flee ridden, rat infested "hotel"???? The place should be condemned.....do NOT go there or recommend it to anyone unless they are your enemy and you want to play a really really sick joke on them !

Check your options. Bad choice!
By gayne, 05/02/07
We made reservations a month early, and that part went well. We arrived shocked at the location. I learned later on that this is the place they put up the transients and homeless. Some construction is obvious, but beyond that, the room that we would have checked into was filthy with strong urine smells. We told the counter that we could not stay in such a place and they immediately cancelled the charge. You do not want to take women and children here! A scary area. As an alternate, try Best Western Tippanogas where we finally stayed at. What a difference. This was a busy weekend with graduations, but Best Western worked with us until we found a room.

Sick!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/30/06
The lobby should have been our first clue to not stay at this hotel however, there were no other rooms in Provo that night! There were two ladies at the service desk and they were rude, abrupt, pierced and blantitly ignored my questions on room pricing. The one girl (with the cigarette behind her ear) answered the phone and it was someone staying at the hotel, the lady on the line needed help with turning her water off, well after they had a huge laugh about this customer they decided they could help me and my husband again. The room~ was disgustingly old, dirty and just one you might see in an old movie. There were soda stains on the front of the bathroom door, the remote control only worked in one direction and the volume button didn't even work. The edges of the room looked like a vaccumm hadn't touched it in quit a while. I was mortified that we had paid $50.00 for this room. I am disgusted with the service we receieved and the attitudes of the workers. The rooms were tolerable, but not by much. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Horrible experience
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/30/05
We made reservations 3 weeks in advance, were guaranteed a downstairs smoking room, & s quoted a reasonable rate. When we checked in, they gave us an 'upstairs, filthy room, that was not made up yet. (this was at 4 PM) They charged $40 more than they had quoted, and tried to charge us a $100 extra fee because I smoked part of a cigarette outside, but near the doorway of a non-smoking room. I had to put in a dispute with my credit card co. to remove the charge! Don't stay here folks, we have stayed in motels for years, and this was the worst experience we have ever had!
