10th year in a row! Back for more...

We take over the Brighton Lodge for the same weekend each year, in late January. The same group of 50 people come back each year, again and again. The location is phenomenal, the facilities are spartan in their austerity, but functional and adequate. One has to remember that you aren't there for the amenities, but rather to ski until you drop (and then soak in the hot tub).
Monica and the staff are always willing to help out, or to locate an extra pillow or roll-away bed at the last minute. The rooms and common areas are worn, but clean, and the hot water fop the showers never runs out. The convenience and comfortable ambience are more than enough to compensate for the fact that one is staying in a cinderblock dormitory building in a tiny room.
If you want Aspen or Gstaad, then the Brighton Lodge isn't for you. If you want to ski every run until they close the lifts, and be able to drop in with your kids for hot cider all day, them come here.
