Not going back there
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/14/09
Like: Location. Dislike: made my reservation by phone a few days before we went to Panguitch and asked (to be sure) if they had wifi and a pool (my girlfriend is very fond of swimming), but the pool was broken. He could have told me that on the phone!! Wifi was very very very slow, and had to be reset a few times. Breakfast: took a cup of coffee and ran to the supermarket. I can not believe that you give your customers a breakfast this sad! I think we were unlucky with the pool and the wifi, but they should have told us on the phone. Therefor (and the breakfast) not going back there.

VERY UPSET
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/05/09
I reserved four rooms for 7-10-2009 through priceline. We had a death in the family, which changed our travel plans. I called your motel on 7-7-2009, talked to Abigal at the front desk and canceled the reservations.I was reassured there would be no charge. $356.00 hit my credit card through priceline and they can't remove the charges because the motel said the reservations were not canceled ( this is not true), In fact the motel hung up on priceline when they were trying to resolve the problem (not a great business practice). Again the rooms were not used so I'm not sure why the motel won't refund the money. We have stayed here before and really like the motel, but we will not stay here again and would recomend to everyone reading this to stay somewhere else. I would like my money back, but if it's your practice to charge people for nothing, I guess I can't do anything about it. Again next time we're in Panguitch we will stay in another motel.

Less than great...
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/18/08
I had originally asked and asked for an email confirmation and never got one, so I then called and asked for a snailmail one. I really wanted some kind of verification that I had the reservation but never got one. When we arrived, they did have our room. The bathroom light needed a new bulb and it was replaced while we went to dinner. The only really bad thing was the shower......no pressure and I could not seem to get rinsed and couldn't wash my hair. The breakfast was certainly not great.........a gallon of milk on the counter and two kinds of cereal and a loaf of bread on the counter. I'm used to MUCH for in the way of a breakfast at all the other places that I've stayed. Staff was friendly, though. Price was too much for what you got.

Great for a Group of Friends!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/17/07
If you are looking for the Ritz Carlton, you won't find it or anything like it in Panguitch. But if your about the destination and not about the glamour, this is a great hotel. We had a group of three couples and it turns out our "suite" was actually a completely separate home in the back of the hotel...just another house in the neighborhood. We had plenty of room, two bathrooms, and a small living area to sit in. Nothing fancy, but we were a group on motorcycles and this was perfect for our needs. It was clean and the Panguitch area is perfectly lodcated if you are looking to ride the great roads of Utah and visit the awesome Canyons! We would stay there again if in the area.

Will stay again
By Denise, 10/09/06
The room was very, very clean (this takes priority over most anything else.) Phone did not work, but front desk offered to let us switch rooms. We didn't want to switch rooms, but allowed us to make a long distance phone call for no charge. Also, shower was less than pleasant, switching from scalding hot to freezing cold, however, they refunded us $10.00 on the room. Loved having the coffee maker in the room. It seems lots of hotels that offer continental breakfast do not offer a coffee maker in the room. The continental breakfast was somewhat disappointing, however my husband usually doesn't eat breakfast and the muffins and toast were enough to fill me up. Location is perfect, you are pretty much in walking distance to resturants and very close to Bryce Canyon which is our favorite spot to visit. As it was October, we did not have want to use the pool, but did not have a chance to check out the jacuzzi. We will probably make this our stopping place when we make our yearly visit to Bryce.

Satisfied
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/25/05
Had a great experience. The room phone was out of order, but, within 10 minutes the phone was switched! Location was convenient to all necessities and only 25 minutes from Bryce. The staff was friendly and helpful. They even suggested the perfect dining place at the Cowboy Smokehouse! The continental breakfast was more than ample. I would stay again and recommend it to others. Thanks!

All the comforts of home
By Heather, 09/06/05
I love to go to Panguitch to visit my family. The Best Western is always cost effective while still delivering the amenities my family needs. We love the pool and the free internet service. The room was always clean and the hotel staff willing to help with any needs we had.

Don't waist your time
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/21/05
Hot tub was broken, Pool was closed, Water was turned off in the rooms at 11:00 pm, was told the breakfast was served until 9:00 am, was there at 7:45 and was turned away along with everyone else because? Room next door was full of 13 to 14 yr old boys without adult supervision. We will never go back.
