Never Go Back!!!!!!!!!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/30/10
While the rooms and the grounds were fairly clean our sheets and bedding had big holes in them. After our first night stay we came back to find our room cleaned but no towels, drinking cups or soap left in the room. We had to call the front desk for these items and they told us we could come to front desk to get the items. I told them no they could bring them to the room for they should have been there in the first place. When they brought them they basically threw them at me and walked away. The air conditioning worked great in the rooms but found the had a timer that would automatically turn it up around 8am to 78 degrees. We decided to sleep in one morning and found ourselves driven out of bed by the room getting really warm. In the Texas heat and humidity the room started to feel like a sweat box. I have never stayed in a place where the room changed temperature like that. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Will be returning to the area in the near future but will be booking else where.

Staff is friendly and always helpful. The owner is always around to make sure everything is done right. The room is very nice and has new carpet, new paint--very clean. Contential breakfast is just perfect--everything you would want--fresh and hummy!

Truly, "Best Value" is an understatement.
By Peter Shepherd, 6/24/09
1. The front desk personal are very friendly and helpful. 2. The rooms are brand new, with the motel just having undergone a major remodelling. 3. They have a wonderful olympic size swimming pool. 4. The motel is very convenient to the new Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, as well as the other entertainment in the area, and is also very convenient to the Fort Worth convention center. 5. The price is right. If you are just driving through the Fort Worth area, I would highly recommend that you stay here. Or, if you are coming on vacation and need a budget priced, NICE place to stay, I would also recommend it.

Never again
By atruetexan, 10/16/06
I should have listed to the previous reviewer and not the last one. The service was okay, value good, location good, but there were roaches in the room when we turned the lights on around 10 pm. Then the sheets and pillow cases were dirty. They had not been changed because there was hair and other dirt on them. The clerk brought us new, but you can tell no hot water or bleach is used to clean the linen. We will never stay here again. It was the worst experience just wondering if roached may get in your stuff and sleeping on semi-cleaned linens.

The Best Place in Town!!
By Peter J Shepherd, 5/25/06
First of all, I'd like to point out that the other two reviews on this site (at this date) were over a year old, and do not reflect the current situation. I have lived here about 4 months now. The staff is excellent. The Motel motto is "We love our customers," and believe me, they do. For a single man, that needs a place to live, or for the budget traveller, I could not think of anyplace better for the money. They have a "Christian" rate, that they give to you whether you are a Christian or not, which even beats the AARP discounts. The rooms are clean, the continental breakfast is adequate, with oatmeal, bagels, pastries, bananas, cereal... They just reopened the swimming pool, after emptying it out, repainting it. The desk clerks are second to none, and are available if you just need someone to talk to. They have a computer in the lobby, as well as Wireless Internet Connection in the rooms. The location is excellent and very convenient, being right off Airport Freeway, and is convenient to downtown Fort Worth, the "mid-cities" area, and DFW airport. They are right on the border of Richland Hills, so you can call the "rider request" bus, which will come pick you up, if you don't have you own transportation. In addition, they are within walking distance to the Trinity Railway Express, which can quickly whisk you away to downtown Fort Worth, or downtown Dallas. In addition to all that, and I think, even more important, they had a "prayer request" box, and people actually pray for you. There is a complete prayer chapel for you to get away and seek God without distraction. For those travellers that don't like to miss church on the weekend, we have church here every Sunday morning and evening, as well as a Bible Study Thursday night.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/26/05
This hotel is a DUMP! The service was horrible to begin with - no one smiled or asked if they could help me when I arrived AND when I left. I was even ignored by waitstaff when I asked if they had fruit for the "continental" breakfast. The room was dirty, sheets stained, and the walls were the color of cigarette smoke (a non-smoking room). The refrigerator was dirty too and had a broken thermostat so that everything was frozen. I was there for a job and didn't have the option to leave, but I will never stay there again and never recommend this place to anyone! To top it all off, the staff harrassed one of my colleagues for having incense and actually went through her things while she was gone and 'CONFISCATED' her property - which is COMPLETELY ILLEGAL! The neighborhood is sketchy and it is basically a concrete box on asphalt - don't waste your time here!

Good enough
By Roadrunner, 4/22/05
The price was a bit much for the quality of the hotel, but then again we were staying there during NASCAR weekend so we had to pay a premium. Three of us stayed in the room and only got two towels each day. The room had that funky hotel room smell. Three of the electrical outlets didn't work. Location is nothing to brag about but at least it's convenient (middle ground for the NASCAR, racetrack, six flags, stockyards & ballparks). It's the typical cheap motel, without being very cheap. However, the staff were all nice and the accommodations were good enough to fit the bill. Not recommended if you expect the ritz but good enough for a last minute trip to NASCAR.
