Kingscliff Hotel - Clacton, Houston

They initially used my credit card to hold the room, however when my wife used her credit card to pay for the room, they did not release the hold on my credit card. After a week, the hold had still not been released. Other problems: the back doors were not secured, they were wide open. You were supposed to use your room key to access the back doors, but they were wide open, no room key required. The houston police were out at the property several times while were there. There are big stains in the carpet in the hallways. Kids were running up and down the hallway during the night and the desk clerk refused to do anything about it. Locals were picnicking on the grounds and did not appear to be staying at the hotel. There was No continental breakfast, just some very week coffee froma machine on the counter. No USA Today newspaper as promised to Redi-Card members. We recently stayed at a Red Roof Inn in Hilton head and found it to be an incredibly fantastic value for the money. This hotel was very unsafe and not very clean. This is not acceptable to me as the type of experience I have come to expect from Red Roof Inns in the past. Don't even waste your time at this property.

Who is Donna??? This was sent to Alfredo and I was the one who stayed at the Red Roof Inn in Houston. That was my sixth night there and the room was OK. The bed did not seem to be as good as the ones from my othere stays there. They were on the 7th. and 8th. of October and the 11th. and 12th. of November
