La Quinta Inn San Angelo Conference Center and Inn, San Angelo

Our family had a emergency so we stayed here at the La Quinta Inn.. Well we have had great stays before but not at this one. At the other La Quinta Inns we have stayed at they have Very soft beds and a flat screen tv. Well this one is just Outdated! They dont have much to offer. My back was killing me from the bed the next morning! So we wont be staying at this location anymore..

We stayed here because it was inexpensive and did not expect many amenities. It's located on the very south side of town, but San Angelo is small enough that it wasn't far from where we were going. The rooms were clean. The air conditioning did work and we had it running on high the whole time we were there! The pool area wasn't very clean. The same pile of towles were there the entire 24 hour we were, which means I also have no clue how old the clean towels had been sitting there (I pulled a towel out from the bottom figureing it to be cleaner and less handled). The pool water was VERY warm and very nice! Nice depth for swimming and it made the stay wonderful! Breakfast was horrible!!! Yes you could make waffles, but they only had one kind of pastry and only a few muffins or bagels. There was a juice machine, but no milk. The only cereal was a frosted flake variety (with a small pitcher of milk there but non for real drinking). One old banana. NO PROTEIN AT ALL!!! Luckily, there is a real nice IHOP close by! For $50/night I would stay there again, but not if the price goes up!
