Seguin Antiques District is four miles away and Sebastopol State Park is five miles from the hotel. Adjacent to the hotel are a variety of restaurants such as IHOP, Chili?s and Subway. Hotel amenities include free coffee, free wireless Internet, copy and fax service, outdoor pool, and free parking. Guest room amenities include free high speed Internet, free local calls, free newspaper Monday through Friday, in room coffee maker, iron and ironing board, hair dryer and cable/satellite TV. The mattress were rock hard, tiny pillows and we came away with bites all over us....we are thinking it was bedbugs. When we asked for more pillows we were told there wasn't any.

clean, nice, and great!!!

Fast and easy check in. Rooms were very clean. Internet service was high speed. Huge pool!!!! And the breakfast!! It was a full hot buffet, not just your bagels and coffee like other hotels. Wasn't too expensive and i felt like i got way more bang for my buck! will be staying again and highly recommend others to.

Dirty rooms, dirty sheets and dirty towels

Dirty rooms, dirty sheets and dirty towels. The carpet felt sticky, the "fresh sheets" were stained and not changed. When I asked for new clean linens they smelled like dog. They were not washed well. I booked a non-smoking room a week in advance. When I arrived at my room the door was wide opened with blankets, trash on the floor and full ashtrays. I asked for a different non-smoking/ready room and they did accommodate. The new room was better but still dirty linens, sticky floor and overall smelt bad. The toilet seat also wobbled and water stains on the ceiling from the room above. Hardly any hot water in the shower. The one good thing was the breakfast it was hot and very good. But the rooms were bad. I would not stay at this hotel again.

Awesome

Everything was wonderful. The room was upgraded at no additional cost when I requested 2 beds instead of the 1 bed I had reserved. The staff were great, the continental breakfast was wonderful and our overall stay was awesome. We planned a trip to the Comal River in New Braunfels and the hotels there were a bit pricey. So we decided to try the Sequin area which was much cheaper. We are glad we did. The hotel was only 13 miles from our destination at the Comal River. At the rate we paid, I was leary that the hotel would be a dump when we arrived. But it was definately more than we expected and I would definately recommend this hotel to anyone planning a trip the the New Braunfels, Texas area.

Excellent place

Pros: The service was excellent. The room was clean. I was asked if I wanted anything special by the cleaning staff. My requests were taken care of with no problem. The price was very reasonable. I gave a discription of the features I wanted in the room and the room given me was beyond what I asked for. I made special requests in the dinning room and the waitress made sure I got what I asked for. Cons: They charge for local calls. The pillows were a bit too soft for me. The bed was a bit hard. I expect to be catered to and having my special requests taken care of. This place does it very nicely. I've stayed in many places with prices ranging from $40 up to over $300. This place is a very good value for the price.
