River Break is Restful!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/13/08
We decided on the Riverview Inn for a few days rest during our fall break. Being high school teachers looking for a quiet place to relax and get away from so many responsibilities, we found the Riverview Inn staff to be cooperative by putting us on the top floor away from the crowds. We had a beautiful view of the river and spent time at the riverwalk and visiting the lovely downtown area shops and restaurants. The hotel is not perfect-some stains here and there but the value is excellent for the price. Breakfast is good, pool and sundeck very nice, grounds well maintained, and best of all a very friendly staff. There is some charm to being downtown away from the mall area. The only thing we could think of that we would have enjoyed would have been a balconey! We look forward to staying again.

LOVE THIS PLACE!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/09/08
My husband and I stayed here during the weekend of July 4th and it was amazing! There was a festival along the river and fireworks. The hotel blocked off all the parking for hotel guests only to ensure that we could find a parking spot with the festival going on. We had a great view and never had to leave our rooms to see all the great fireworks shot from the river. The room was VERY clean, and the service was EXCELLENT!! We were unsure what to think after reading the reviews, but we were glad we came - we be back next year!!

Great experience!
By traveller, 04/21/08
Stayed 3 nights and was unaware of a local festival that was taking place at the time. Hotel setup security to make sure no one who wasn't a guest was on property. Breakfast was nice, housekeeping staff kept everything really clean and provided us with everything we needed and the gentleman at the front desk was extremely helpful upon checkin.

My sisters and brothers and I enjoyed our stay for five days at Riverview Inn. We found the rooms clean and roomy, staff extremely friendly and helpful. The location was great and the amenities were more than satisfactory. The hot and cold complimnentary breakfast was an added plus. We highly recommend Riverview Inn.

We will NOT go back
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/29/07
we called ahead for adjoining rooms, we were told we would have them, confirmed this in 2 different phone conversations, when we got there the non smiling desk clerk said we never tell anyone that. So, of course , we didnt get them. One of the rooms had hair all in the bathtub which they did clean after we called them. Our room had plumbing problems, called them one evening when we got in , said they would be right up, we didnt see them that night, we went out the next day, problem was fixed, not sure how.Our son's 8 month old got sick in the bed, we pulled all the comforters and sheets off both beds and left a note on top of comforter saying baby threw up on them. the same sheet was back on one bed, but one bed was missing a sheet and a blanket that it once had. We told a new desk clerk that told us, they couldnt get in because we had the Do Not Disturb Sign on the door, hmmm,I wonder who put the same sheet that we had initialed underneath and remade the bed and brought us new towels and picked up the old ones, which they actually did a good job cleaning our bathroom,we will never go back to this hotel.

Lots of bang for the buck
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/19/06
Not only was my room clean, comfortable, and well furnished but it was also a great value. I had an extended stay during a busines trip and found the entire hotel experience to be equal to other hotels at much higher prices. The location is very convenient, right in downtown Clarksville with dinning and entertainment within walking distance. Austin Peay State University is a very short drive or a pleasant walk away. This is not a full service hotel, but the lounge is comfortable with some local clientale and the breakfast bar is okay. All in all I recomend the hotel and will stay there again.

Glad we stayed there
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/03/05
After staying 3 nights in another hotel while waiting for our son's deployment, we moved to the Riverview Inn and spent 3 more nights. I liked the Riverview much better than our first hotel which was at Fort Campbell Blvd and I24. The Riverview was a better location for us, and it was a nicer room. Breakfast was great. Pool nice. I liked the lobby and being close to the town of Clarksville. Not much in Clarksville, but everything we needed was close by. Great Catholic Church near by, which was a good place for me to spend some time. Also had free internet connection.

Would not return for any reason
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/30/05
The grounds, lobby, pool and pool deck are beautiful, but once you step into the room; you will think the elevator went to the basement instead of up to the rooms. The furniture was full of holes, the television and refrigerator were sitting in the middle of the room on a make shift credenza. If you were from out of town you would never know anything about the town, no brochures at all of any kind in the room about the area or the hotel. I looked (At my request) at another room and ended up staying in the first room. The second room was worst than the first. Overall, just a bad experience.
