$1,500 Overcharge
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/20/11
Terrible Hotel. I was working in the area for two weeks and stayed at this hotel. I paid for the room on my credit card, and when I received my statement Riverview had charged me (3) three times what I should have been charged. I've placed several calls to them, left several messages, talked to several people and all saying they/manager would get back to me. Then, finally they get back to me and tell their still charging me even though I have proof (witnesses, lease agreements, emails, receipts) that I was not there. They never even bothered to ask to see the proof. They just said, Since our 'maids' said I was still in the room they can't take back the charges. No Joke. The manager left it up to the maids to decide if I should get my $1,500 dollars back, and no, the room was not left a mess, everything was the same way when I got in the room. I now am having my CC company go after them and I'm filing a civil suit against them.

Miss it already!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/30/11
I spent this past weekend at this hotel and I was extremely pleased. I am always wary of where I stay when I am away from home. After checking all of the online reviews of several hotels, I chose this one mainly for it's location. My room was clean and comfortable. The hotel has a nice indoor pool with a patio that has a great view. I had read other reviews that complained about the hotel being old and the coffee downstairs being luke warm. It's true, the coffee and hot water for tea in the lobby was not hot. However, my room had a coffee maker in it so it wasn't really an issue for me. As for the appearance of the hotel, I saw nothing wrong with it. Everything was in good condition....it didn't look old and worn to me. I don't think you could find a better location if you're staying in Clarksville. There are plenty of food places and stores near by, insanely close access to the riverwalk, plus there is a salon and fitness room located on the second floor. I couldn't have asked for more. Service was great and I will definitely stay here again!

What a great place!!
By Mom of two!, 2/18/11
We stayed here for my Sisters college graduation in Dec. We booked 2 suites. The rooms were very clean, lots of extra linens. Our kids had a great time at the very clean indoor pool. We enjoyed the continental breakfast. They had alittle of everything to eat. The Christmas tree and decor was beautiful and the staff was great too!!! We would def. stay here again!!

River Break is Restful!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/13/08
We decided on the Riverview Inn for a few days rest during our fall break. Being high school teachers looking for a quiet place to relax and get away from so many responsibilities, we found the Riverview Inn staff to be cooperative by putting us on the top floor away from the crowds. We had a beautiful view of the river and spent time at the riverwalk and visiting the lovely downtown area shops and restaurants. The hotel is not perfect-some stains here and there but the value is excellent for the price. Breakfast is good, pool and sundeck very nice, grounds well maintained, and best of all a very friendly staff. There is some charm to being downtown away from the mall area. The only thing we could think of that we would have enjoyed would have been a balconey! We look forward to staying again.

LOVE THIS PLACE!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/9/08
My husband and I stayed here during the weekend of July 4th and it was amazing! There was a festival along the river and fireworks. The hotel blocked off all the parking for hotel guests only to ensure that we could find a parking spot with the festival going on. We had a great view and never had to leave our rooms to see all the great fireworks shot from the river. The room was VERY clean, and the service was EXCELLENT!! We were unsure what to think after reading the reviews, but we were glad we came - we be back next year!!

Great experience!
By traveller, 4/21/08
Stayed 3 nights and was unaware of a local festival that was taking place at the time. Hotel setup security to make sure no one who wasn't a guest was on property. Breakfast was nice, housekeeping staff kept everything really clean and provided us with everything we needed and the gentleman at the front desk was extremely helpful upon checkin.

We will NOT go back
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/29/07
we called ahead for adjoining rooms, we were told we would have them, confirmed this in 2 different phone conversations, when we got there the non smiling desk clerk said we never tell anyone that. So, of course , we didnt get them. One of the rooms had hair all in the bathtub which they did clean after we called them. Our room had plumbing problems, called them one evening when we got in , said they would be right up, we didnt see them that night, we went out the next day, problem was fixed, not sure how.Our son's 8 month old got sick in the bed, we pulled all the comforters and sheets off both beds and left a note on top of comforter saying baby threw up on them. the same sheet was back on one bed, but one bed was missing a sheet and a blanket that it once had. We told a new desk clerk that told us, they couldnt get in because we had the Do Not Disturb Sign on the door, hmmm,I wonder who put the same sheet that we had initialed underneath and remade the bed and brought us new towels and picked up the old ones, which they actually did a good job cleaning our bathroom,we will never go back to this hotel.
