POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE
By Rebecca, 2/26/12
GOOD LOCATION, ROOM SMELLED TERRIBLE. GARBAGE PILED UP OUTSIDE OUR DOOR. MANAGEMENT NEEDS CUSTOMER SERVICE CLASSES, DIDN'T SEEM TO CARE THAT OUR RESERVATIONS STATES KING WITH FIREPLACE. NEEDLESS TO SAY WE DIDN'T GET FIREPLACE. BEING OLD IS NOT THE PROBLEM, TAKING PRIDE IN YOUR PLACE OF BUSINESS GOES ALONG WAY. CLEANING AND ALITTLE PAINT WOULD WORK WONDERS.

Give Four Seasons a chance
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/4/12
i dont understand the negative reviews, maybe they are trying to improve. They certainly have in our opinion. One of the few pet friendly accomodations in Gatlinburg and on the "strip". We stayed from Christmas day for five nights in room 135. Front office staff could not have been more accomodating, friendly and professional. Room was extremely clean. Beds were extremely comfortable. Housekeeping and maintenance staff was on top of everything. Outdoor surroundings were neat and clean. We look forward to many stays in Gatlinburg and will not consider anywhere else. I suggest you all give them a try the next time you go to Gatlinburg. The rates are reasonable for the location. We have no complaints whatsoever and look forward to going back to Four Seasons for our next stay.

want stay again
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/14/11
The hotel is nothing like the pictures on the site. Floors were dirty in the room when we checked in. Hallways were plum nasty. Maid service was trouble my 5 year old can do better. You get what you pay for. If you mke reservations off the hotwire or the other sites, you click and think you are getting one room and you actually get something no one else wants.

You get what you pay for
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/10/11
This hotel is very old and in need of upgrading. The room I stayed in had glass sliding doors. The screen on the door was ripped and taped with duct tape. The sliding door was very hard to open and close. The carpet in the room was filthy! My 3 year old walked around in the room with his socks on and they were black. The room was never cleaned. The trash was taken out, but the floor was not vacuumed at all. The beds were not even made up. The sheets were just pulled up over the pillows that were in a pile on the bed. We got clean towels but no wash clothes. This place is also pet friendly and you could hear dogs barking up and down the hallway. It took forever to check in because there was only one person working the counter. I noticed that she would answer the phone when it would ring and put it on hold and would never return to it. The location was great and the rates cheap. But you get what you pay for.

never going back there
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/23/11
room was so filthy. cigarette ashes on floor. hair in tub. the first night we got there late and just wansted to g to bed, the next day we seen the filth, ignored it and when we got back later that day, nobody replaced our towel, made the bed or cleaned. clerk knocked on door at 4 pm and gave us towels. thats it. never seen anyone again. there were alot of kids staying there with a church group and they were so loud they woke my two young kids up. not very happy. they were running back and forth yelling near our room til 2 in the morning. also was told if we go to the pancake house behind us we would get a discount. wow really because they never opened. the lighting around the indoor pool was terrible. no towels in the pool area. i will never stay there again. if you want return customers make their stay memorable not something they will regret

Very Pleased!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/18/11
When we looked at the room we were very pleased, it was very clean even the sheets and bathroom. It had a fireplace in it which was very cozy!! One night while my husband was in the shower I went down for a coke and there was a big fuss going on in the room close by the clerk immediately took care of it. When I needed more coffee or towels or anything they took care of us without a problem. The last night we were there the clerk was a guy and he was very nice showing me the different rooms for future stay, he was very nice and treated me like a friend. I would stay again in fact plan on staying in Feb. Thanks, the Vice's for Southside, Al

VERY DISAPPOINTED
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/18/11
We had gone there January 14th-16th, to celerbtate our 45 wedding anniversary. When we called for reservations, the clerk was really nice. We only live about an hour away. When we arrived, about 3:30 p.m., we checked-in with a different clerk. She was not so nice. Things went down hill from there. She put us in the very back, up on the hill. I went inside the building and secured a "luggage cart", After we got luggage loaded & went to the elevator, it would not work. We ask the elevator repair man, if it would be working soon & he said NO. Had to order parts. Wife then calls office clerk & told her the elevator would not work & ask her if we could move to another room. She said she didn't know the elevator didn't work, although the Elevator Repair Truck, was sitting outside the door ! Clerk said NO, just take the stairs. Wife explained to her that we are Senior Citizens & that I had just had surgery & could not be lifting & climbing stairs. Clerk said she only had one other room, but the fireplace was out-of-order. We had reserved a King bed & a fireplace. The lodge wasn't full at that time, but did get fuller by late evening. Clerk would not send anyone to help. Wife had to carry luggage upstairs. When we got to our room, we found a really nice fireplace, but the room & bathroom was not real clean. The fireplace had cobb-webs in it. Later in the day, a group of teenagers arrived. The room next to us, had several boys in it. This room was an ajointing room to us. They got really loud & tried to break into our room. Wife told them to leave our door alone. They left to go out but returned about 11:00 pm. Got very loud again, with music & talking. They tried again to get in our door. This went on for about 2 hours. Again, we ask them to quite down. Not much sleep for us that Friday night. The next day, Saturday, same thing happens. They were gone most of the day. That night was like the night before. The boys returned late night They got really loud & again tried to get into our room. I called the office about 12:30 & talked to a male clerk & told him what was going on & ask him if he would take care of the problem. He said he might be able to contact somebody to check it out. An hour later, after the problem continued, I called him back. I ask him if he found anybody to handle the problem. Very unconcerned, he said he would see what he could do. About 30 minnutes later, a guy knocks on their door & just ask them to quite it down. That lasted for a little while, then the noice started again. ( these teenage boys were with a CHURCH group ) We had looked forward to a nice weekend, but it was ruined. While checking out, the next morning. We mentioned our experience to the clerk. She wasn't very concerned, but did only say," I'm sorry" & went on. Didn't offer a discount or etc. or even ask us to come back again. We go to Gatlinburg several times a year. We DO NOT recommend this lodge to anyone. Recommend to people to go somewhere they will be welcomed & appreciated. Mike & Linda Knoxville TN

Dirty Sheets
By Steve, 1/1/10
We selected this motel due to it's key location. After tucking my kids in to bed after a long day I went to get in my bed and noticed hair and stains on my sheets. I immediately called the front desk requesting clean sheets. The attendant told me he was the only one on duty and could not provide clean sheets. He offered another room but since it was after 11pm, we had already unpacked and the kids were in bed that was not a good solution. My wife and I ended up sleeping in our clothes. When I politely complained the next morning I was told there was nothing they could do. I told them I'm not the type to yell and scream but that I would write an online review to share my thoughts. I do not recomend staying at the Four Seasons in Gatlinburg.

We enjoyed our stay!
By Melissa Whitson, 12/26/09
The staff was very friendly and the location was great. The rooms were clean but a little dated. All in all it was a good trip and we would go back again.
