Should be a 4+ star motel
By janet, 11/29/08
employees very polite and helpful, room very clean with frig, micowave, coffee maker, etc The only thing we had a problem with was ( toilet needed bolted tight to the floor)but the room was great. The breakfast buffet was outstanding. It was as good as any resturant buffet. We would certainly stay here again.

Average hotel for a premium price
By JoeD, 08/02/08
Individual rooms are adequate, clean, and updated with the latest televisions. Praise for the hotel ends there, the building itself is outdated, and a lack of attention has been placed on ensuring that common areas shared by guests (lounge, dinning area, and computer room) are clean. While the staff is friendly and willing to help customers, I do not plan on staying at a quality inn again.

Stay every year
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/06/07
We have stayed here multiple times, and are very happy to have found such a nice hotel. (there are a lot of marginal ones)We like the full breakfast buffet, kids meal with adult purchase for dinner, allows pets, and honors special requests. All this and friendly staff make this a great place to stop.

Not the best ... or the worst
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/11/07
Not what one would expect from a Holiday Inn. We expected better for what we were being (over)charged. When choosing where to book a hotel in the Louisville area we relied upon the good name of the Holiday Inn. Bad mistake. But the staff was nice....except for one waitress who clearly had an attitude problem. We got the feeling we were really wrecking her evening. But then, maybe we were, since we were one of only two occupied tables at the restaurant that night. Perhaps she was looking to go home early? To put this bad experience behind us we went over to the bar for a nightcap before bed and were pleasantly met by a wonderful bartender who displayed true hospitality. Overall, food was good, room adequate. We travel through the Louisville area from time to time over the course of a year, but I doubt we will be back to this particular Holiday Inn.

Great Staff!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/07/07
Michelle, one of the evening ladies was wonderful! I did not stay there personally myselft, but my experience with the staff members have been great! I have been meaning to give this place a review for a couple of months now. My baby sister, who is only 19, was visiting Indiana from Florida by herself, and was not old enough to actually secure her own room. I did not want her sleeping at some rest area or truck stop by herself. (She's a petite 5 foot 105 lbs woman.) Michelle and the staff there have been wonderful in allowing me to secure a room for her on her way up there and back. My sister informed me Michelle and others made sure she was ok and taken cared of. ( I did not ask them to look after her, just to allow her to stay with my billing.) I don't know what I would have done without this wonderful bunch at Holiday Inn! I believe every older sibling or parent would love to have a great group of people such as these look after their younger loved ones should they ever travel alone. Thank you Michelle and fellow staff members at Holiday Inn! God bless and have a good one!

Lovin the Southern Hospitality!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/04/07
I absolutely LOVE the staff! They made me feel right at home! I came in to this hotel from a 10+ hr. drive and I was welcomed as soon as I walked in the building and it wasnt that "Hi, how are you today?" speech like the staff was required to do it. It was very sincere and I felt right at home. The breakfast was terrific! The two ladies that were working in there awesome. The rooms are improving. This hotel is currently under needed renovations which is great. The girl at the front desk gave me one of the rooms that had gotten new mattresses and I slept like a baby :). Well, that is all I have to say and I hope who ever reads this greatly considers staying at this location!

WONDERFULL!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/29/06
Great place. friendly people. clean rooms, right off interstate, watch for turn. Pool was very nice, very kid friendly. Breakfast was like any other breakfast, buffet. Restaurant is pretty empty during evening and is somewhat slow. Nice place. Will come back.
