Bed Bugs
By Janice, 05/12/09
Once again the bed bugs are back at this hotel...and the front desk staff seem to never be able to help when you need it. Rates are quoted, but not the same when you arrive...and the fire alarm continuously goes off

Great Place
By DavidD, 05/18/08
We called at the last minute on our way to the Bristol Dragway. The call desk was in Tx. he managed to get us a room and upgraded it to a suite, as we were celebrating our honeymoon. (We go on honeymoons two or three times a year, not made it to the alter yet). The suite was well worth the extra$$. Would highly recommend it and will return next year!

Wonderful Service and a great night sleep
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/03/08
Upon entering I was impressed by the expansive lobby area, and the smell of freshly baked cookies. At the front desk the gentleman working was fast at getting me checked in, and even offered me a warm cookie, he told me how to find the room and even offered a wake up call in case I needed one. The room was equally as nice the room smelled fresh and had nice decor the bedding was comfortable as was the king bed, it appears as if the room had been recently remodeled and was done up with a bit of class. In conclusion this was the best $100.00 I`ve spent in a long time, I do travel alot for business and this was the first time I stayed at a DoubleTree, I usually go to a competitor brand hotel, but after the stay here I think I`ll only stay at DoubleTree and Hilton properties from here on out.

Great Hotel, Great Staff
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/01/08
The Front Desk Staff was really great! The hotel has there rooms and bathrooms updated. They still do not have the fitness center finished but the offer a pass to a local fitness center that is really nice. There restaurant, fanatics, has great staff and pretty good food.

Moderate
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/08/07
When we first arrived around 11:00 am we were told that the only available rooms were on the executive floor (which are more expensive than the rest) and that check-in would be at 3:00 pm. So we returned a little after three only to find out that our room still wasn't ready. We were still persistant about a cheaper room and not until the third time we arrived and our room still wasn't ready did they have one "come available". The room was ready around 5:00 pm and we were sent up to the stinky third floor where every other room was being renovated. The room was nice (one that had been renovated) but construction on each side stated early. Staff was rude and unhelpful.

Very dissapointed
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/16/07
We stopped here on vacation and I was really looking forward to staying at the Doubletree from the advertisement, but ended up being very dissapointed with the whole experience. Poor service, the cleanliness of the rooms are questionable. We were there for three days, when we checked in we reported that our heater was'nt working, maintenance showed up when we were checking out.

Save your money !
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/16/07
Save your money , you could stay at a $29 dollar a night motel and get alot better service. The hotel restuarant food is possibly one of the worst things I've ever put in my mouth since I was a toddler.
