Zoder's Inn and Suites, Gatlinburg

Just returned from a three night stay at Zoders Inn. This is by the far the best place we have ever stayed in Gatlinburg. We have been to Gatlinburg quite a few times since our honeymoon 32 years ago and this was a great visit. We had a room on the river and it was so peaceful. You are close to town yet with the surroundings you would think you are way off the main road. This was the most relaxing vacation I have ever had! Only a three hour drive away we will be going back more often since we have found this wonderful place.

We are going back in a few weeks because we loved it so much! It has balconys overlooking streams and 2 pools! Complementery breakfast and very nice staff! The parrot in the lounge is pretty cool too. Its great for a family getaway. its very close to all the sights of Gatlinburg. They have snacks during the day too, cookies and milk at night! Our family loves it. I recomend this hotel very much!

We stayed in a very pricy kitchenette room for 10 people. The sliding doors did not lock and the door did not lock. They did not fix the lock and I have 2 toddlers. Also I had $400.00 worth of meds that came up missing. The owners were rude and stood up for the maids after we 600.00 for that room. That was the biggest disappointment. Also we took the kids for cookies and milk-poolside. They advertise it and there was no cookies. very sad.

Just recently returned from a trip to Zoder's and absolutely loved it! The balcony overlooking the river was perfect! We really enjoyed the cookies and milk at night. The heated indoor pool was perfect after a long day walking downtown Gatlinburg! Perfect location, close to all shops and restaurants yet still tucked away from the loudness of the streets! The only downside was our room service wasn't the greatest. I would definitely reccommend staying at Zoder's and we intend on staying for our next trip.

Our Yahoo confirmation for 3 quests to stay in a suite at the Inn was not honored at the inn. The Inn's reservation received from Travelocity only booked 2 guests. The Inn would like give us the suite but did offer to find us another room at their "Sold Out" Memorial weekend or help us find a room at another hotel.

Likes: Very cean rooms, loved the heated tile floors, balcony over brook was priceless, located right in walking distance of main attractrions in Gatlinburg, free continental breakfast was good, milk and cookies in the evening. Dislikes: Dbl room a bit small, beds were full size (need queen size), service not the friendliest ( was more like get you in, and out and thats it)., Be prepared to walk or take trolley on the strip, DO NOT try to drive and park, VERY fustrating. Overall we enjoyed the trip very much. My wife and I and two daughters had a great time. MUST visit Ripleys Aqaruim!!! Would stay at Zoders Inn again.

With the exception of one guy at check-in, the staff were the rudest people I have encountered. My family obtained 3 rooms and we were all disappointed with the service. Apparently a job applicant at this Best Western does not require you to have people skills. I would strongly advise you to go on to the next Best Western.

We had a double room and our beds were not comfortable. The pool was nice. The lady that worked at night for the wine and cheese was not friendly at all.

I recently stayed for 3 mights in August 2008 and would definitely return. The location of the motel was perfect; not too far into the middle of the action on the parkway and not too far off to walk to main attractions. I stayed in a double room and the plush pillow top mattresses were by far the best mattress I have ever slept on! Every area of the motel was spotless including the shower room and pool. Staff was always curteous and being a parrot lover, Ceasar was entertaining and welcoming! Stream was a little noisy (up toward the front where I stayed) but refreshing to hear other then traffic. Room decor is charming and comfortable, loved how the vanity and bathroom were divided off by a wall from the beds. Beautiful, well kept grounds. Cookies and milk snack time added a nice touch!

we have been to gatlinburg many times, but this was our first stay at zoders inn. We stayed in a jacuzzi suite. Jacuzzi in room much larger than most . We loved the whole set up. Indoor and outdoor pools were heated and convenient. Free wine and crackers were served every evening. Very clean. Staff was very friendly. We will definately come back here on our next get away.
