Days Hotel Bristol Medical Center, Bristol

We had booked at this hotel at 11 pm at night, with news that my husbands father had a heart attack and was being taken to Bristol Medical Center. That morning my mother-in-law called to let us know she had booked us a room at the Hampton (which shares the parking lot) When my husband, myself and my 1 year old son got there to cancel, we asked for the hotel manager. He was sitting on the couch watching tv. He did not even stand up to speak to us and would not refund our money. OR even refund part of our money. Knowing we were there for a medical reason, which they offer a discounted rate. We have spent a total 2 hours with Days Inn to get any of our money refunded. No luck. Also, just standing in the lobby, it looked like a dump. Not surprised to see the parking lot empty the entire week we were staying next door. Stay next door for nearly the same price for AMAZING staff. Every single person there was polite and helpful.

This place is the most run down shack in the area. Ceiling falling down, ac/heater broken, crack under door that light came in, toilet wasn't cleaned for the three day stay, just over-all nasty. Didn't have options or wouldn't have stayed there the first night. NASCAR event in town and everything was booked. Should have paid attention to reviews that say the same thing, but like to give everyone the chance. Won't happen again!

We are actually staying here at the Days Inn in Bristol Tennessee right now. The room that we are in is not clean at all! We have been killing flies since we got here, there are cigarette butts on the floor. This room has 2 beds in it, and one of them had pillows that was covered in hair. Not real sure if they have cleaned in here or not! I wouldn't recommend that anyone stay here! I would however, recommend that you spend a little more and go next door to the Hampton! Or even down the road to stay somewhere else! We will not be back here again.

Do not go here!!!! Room half way cleaned, hair in the bathroom shower & floor from other guest, even TV dinners still in the refrigerator from other guest. No coffee pot for maker, walls not finished fashionably or neat in bathroom and vanity area. Cheap in apperance & not worth more than a $30 "special" if that. Young staff thoughtless & unconcerned with questions at checkin and worst of all being put on a back alley that seemed cheesy & scarey and appeared like a live-here motel with dirty sidewalks as well. The website makes it look very nice/clean & a real nice place but that is a joke, will not recommend or ever, ever be back, a $75 loss & suppose to be a savings online, right....

Days Inn is an older hotel, but clean and cozy. Even though it is situated in between I-81 and State St. highways, we could not hear the traffic noise from inside our room. The only noise was from people walking outside our room. Breakfast was fresh muffins, bagels and coffee. The price was also good.
