Happy family

Wow that was the most fun we all had as a family in a long time the place was great our room was great . I had soo much fun on the slide with my kids they did not want to go.The only thing we were not to happy about was we eat supper in the in hotel resturant and they seemed to be short on serves and the food was not worth the money. it too ecspensive to eat there and i couldnt even finish my food or pop it was not good at all otherwise the room was very clean and lots of fun . We are actually looking on going back in a month.
 
 
 
 
 
a little disappointed

We had reserved a non-smoking room, and we could smell the smoke before even entering the room they gave us. It was terrible. We went back to the desk to request another room and were told that was all they had. After complaining a little longer they (miraculously) discovered that they did in fact have another room available. This one smelled better. The kids had fun in the pool, although it was extremely crowded. If the customer service had been better in the beginning, my review would have been much better.

We went there as a family vacation, the whole family had a great time. Everytime we go to SF that is the hotel we stay at. We enjoy the pool & bar. The kids have a great time there! We will be there again soon!
 
 
 
 
 
pool woes

We stayed the night of Jan. 12th and ended up taking my son to the local emergency department as he awoke with what appeared to be a very bad burn like rash on his entire body, especially his legs. Then looking at my other son he also had a very mild rash. The ER Doctor said that it was a bacteria infection that came from the pool or the hot tub at the motel. The Dr. notified the motel. We ended up with my son getting pain medicine and packing his legs in ice to relieve the pain. I have left messages with the staff and they assured me that a manager would be in contact with me and nobody did. I also visited with several people who also stayed that night and their children also had rashes, but were very mild. I just wanted someone to give me the satisfaction of an answered phone call to know that they had looked into the problem and that it was corrected. We were all lookig forward to a fun weekend that ended up with an emergency room bill.

Hotel Getaway

This hotel offers fantastic amenities! The waterpark is AWESOME!!! The one thing I didn't like is that they only issue 4 tickets per day for the waterpark...and you can only purchase up to 3 more.
 
 
 
 
 
Poor Management

When my family and I first stayed at the Ramada we were treated like family. The service was great, the people were great, all of management was great. We frequented the hotel/restaraunt often, spending tons of money on meals and bar tabs. Unfortunately, the staff has changed (some of which is contributed to poor management) and the quality of service has since then suffered. When we have gone to dine, the warmth and kindness we once knew has not been present. The staff moral was obviously low and the quality of service was poor. The hotel manager walks around with a frown constently, avoiding any contact with customers. My family and I personally were treated poorly by the hotel manager for no apparent reason. We will NEVER recommend the hotel or restaraunt to anyone. How sad...If only the owner knew what kind of a hotel manager he has running his business.

Going Back ASAP :)

We had a pool side room. It had a small fridge with a counter area off the living room. The bedroom was spacious and very clean. We enjoyed ordering pizza and having room in our suite to eat as a family of 5. The pool was great and the water temp was warm. The kids played for hours. We plan on going in Jan 07 and celebrating our daughter's 7th birthday here. Can't wait to go!

Our family really enjoyed our stay there & we will definitely come back. The kids thought the water park was awesome. My husband and I felt the suite room we had was comfortable and clean.

We will return

We stayed two nights, in August 2005, as a family trip immediately after my husband and I married. We all enjoyed the entire stay, from the pool to the two room suite, complete with fridge and microwave for convience. And two tv's helped us a lot also!

excellent place

we stayed at the ramada on friday march 31st 2006 signed in under jim altenburg or jay pipes our little boy left his blanket in one of those rooms it is a small quilt pastel yellow and blue. please keep it and we will be in to pick it up thank you so much and thanks for the wonderful stay. thank you
