Had a nice stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/16/09
PROS-room was very clean, quiet location, affordable CONS-spotty wi-fi while I was there, but the staff could usually fix the problem

Good service in a bad situation
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/14/09
My husband and I were touring the Black Hills this fall and were involved in a car accident near Custer, SD. My husband was hospitalized and our car was badly damaged. At the hospital I asked about a hotel nearby and they recommended the Best Western. They said they provided rides to and from the hospital and had a special rate for people doing business at the hospital. They came and picked me up and I stayed for 7 nights. The hotel was only blocks from the hospital and the staff was always friendly and willing to give me rides (some days I went back and forth 3 times). The room was clean and quiet. Since I didn't have a car, it was nice that there was a restaurant across the parking lot. I can't remember what the name was, but I would highly recommend it. My husband was discharged but we had to wait another two days for the car. In the end it wasn't the best situation, but the hotel was nice and the service was great. I would stay again.

Had a pleasant stay.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/14/09
I was in town for a funeral and spent 2 days. The breakfast was very good and they had soup available in the evenings. I liked that I was able to park my car right in front of my room. The room was very clean, which is what I consider most important factor in choosing a hotel. I would stay again if I was in town. One final thing, if you are parents with children, this hotel has an outdoor pool, so it is closed in winter.

Watch out for the dork behind the front desk.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/08/05
Over time we've stayed at many hotels and we thought we've seen everything but we were wrong. When we were signing in at the front desk of this place the man behind the counter said he needed to tell us how to stay at a hotel for some reason. We fired back that most likely we've stayed in more hotels than he was old. That made the point and he didn't say anymore. Don't stay here!
