VERY GOOD PLACE TO STAY!
Very, very clean, nice place to stay. Pretty setting. Breakfast was typical, lots of sugary stuff and no, we didn't eat it. Hot Springs is a very pretty little town and not as touristy as some other places in this area.

A good place to stay in Hot Springs
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/17/08
We have stayed at this motel many times over about a 20 year period. This year we stayed four days (June 4 - 8). The motel is under new management this year and they are very attentive and friendly. I agree that the previous owners were not the friendliest, probably stressed from the work and needed to get out. The "breakfast" is not what you might expect, but there is coffee, juice, cereal, make-em yourself waffles and bagels. Good enough start for most, and if you want more, restaurants are close by. My advice would be to have a light breakfast and save your appetite for lunch at the Sage Creek Grill in Custer. There can be issues with any stay anywhere -- such as our towels not replaced one day and our air conditioner needed to be fixed, but these problems were remedied quickly and cheerfully. The service was no less than what we had recently at the Grand Hyatt in Seattle although the accommodations were nicer at the Hyatt (cost 4x as much though!). The location in Hot Springs is very nice and overlooks a variety of sandstone buildings along the main street through town. The traffic noise mighty bother some during the day but it is relatively quite at night. The rooms are basic but spacious, nothing deluxe but clean and decent. If you in the area to enjoy the southern Black Hills, I recommend giving this place a try.

the best one!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/27/08
I love this place. All staffs are really kind, nice and caring. They always smile and say hi to me. I feel really comfotable staying here. I am really glad to stay here three days. In addition, I love the breakfast which we can get in the hotel. The room is very neat, and large enough. I really enjoy staying this hotel.

Cabin is great
By AmeeD, 8/20/06
We stayed in one of the cabins and greatly enjoyed it. It is not fancy but nice. Two adults and 3 children sleep and hung out without being crowded. Having little ones is was great to have a kitchen area to fix snacks and eat lunch. The front deck area was also nice to set out on and see the sites. It is easy to find and is located in a great place. Staff was nice and breakfast was good, simple but good. We would stay in one of these cabins again if ever in the area.

dirty run down
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/10/06
The Inn is a old Best Western that still has old stickers. It has not been painted or cleaned in years and has mold in the bathrooms. The counter people dont know what the prices are or discounts. They intercept phone calls then expect you to know they have them. I was quoted one price then when I went to check out they demanded more saying it was a mistake. I would never go back much nicer places in town
