Ocean Creek Resort, Myrtle Beach

Myrtle Beach is a very busy and bustling beach resort,However,when one pulls into this 57 acre resort, one enjoys the peace and calm of a private estate. We stayed in one of the lodges and it was clean and well appointed with beautiful posters which immediately put us in vacation mode.This is our fifth year at Ocean Creek and our two young children can't wait to get back. There is something for them to do every day, all week!

We just got back from a 7 night stay and we already can't wait to get back. We had an three bedroom and three bath oceanfront condo. The property is beautiful with all of the landscaping and natural areas around the large property. We had 4 kids ages 1, 6, 7 and 11 all of the kids had something to do at all times. Mon thru Fri. the resort offered pool side activities! I would walk them to the pool and when they were done a staff member would walk them to me on the beach! You can't find that on a New Jersey or Maryland beach. The kids loved what they called the "Lazy River" they enjoyed looking for hermit crabs and shells. We are all looking forward to going back next year!

Stayed 2 nights and the resort itself was fairly nice. Older property, clean and servicable 2-3 star property. The real problem was that we left some items in our room and got the complete runaround trying to determine if anyone had found it. Left 4 VM over 3 days with the lost and found number with no call back. Talked to Housekeeping two days in a row and they said they would "Ask around to the maids", but I did not recieve a call back. No one plans to leave anything behind ,but it does happen and I know that I do not want to stay at place that has to "Ask around". Seems like at Ocean Creek if you leave something it will be taken. The final straw was talking to Assisant General Manager Julie who always calls back. Did not hear back from her so I had to call back. Once again told it could turn up, but I will not stay at or recommend a property that has no system for dealing with items left in the room.

This resort is the best we have ever stayed at. My husband and I always felt that our kids were safe and secure. WE WILL ALWAYS BE BACK HERE NEXT YEAR!~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This place was great! My kids have so much fun playing in the beacha dn sand, and it s always nice for me and my husband to just relax. I was very happy to see all the wonderful messages that were written in this book that the owner put out. We also had cousins in CC3, and that was great for our kids to go down and visit, especially at night. We also let our oldest daughters to go shopping in barefoot landing, with their cousins, and they are about the same age. It is very convienient for our children to be able to take the tram to the check in place,a dn walk from there. Also, all of the workers in the South Tower, beach and ocean pool are fantastic. They helped my child when he tripped and skimmed his knee. That may seem like that is a bad reason to stay, but it was only because his feet were wet from the pool. Over all this vacationa nd resort is a fantastic place, to get away and relax, but at the same time, have fun. Hope you enjoy it!!!

We have stayed at Ocean Creek for a number of years and we ALWAYS look forward to our trip because of how beautiful the property is, how great our condos have fit our needs and most of all how great we are treated. We have stayed in the garden homes and one time in the lodges, but the Towers on the ocean are really what we love. We haven't taken our summer vacation yet this year, but we are so excited after this loooooong year that I got online to get myself in that 'Ocean Creek mood'. We are going in July and it can't get here fast enough!

Real nice place to stay! The condo that we stayed in was very clean and had a great view! The beach was also very clean! we found alot of cool shells. They did not have the Bar open yet at the Beach pool... only one SMALL indoor pool(which is in the South Tower)not good because we stayed in the North Tower) North Tower has a heated outdoor pool(NICE)! Overall I would stay here again!! Great location to shops and golf!! If you can go to Oscars to eat do it its just down the road. GREAT FOOD!!

We just got back from a four night stay and we already can't wait to get back. We had two families in our group and had two oceanfront condos. The property is BY FAR the most beautiful property in Myrtle Beach with all of the landscaping and natural areas around the HUGE property. We had a couple of toddlers who were feeding the ducks at the pond leading towards the oceanfront buildings and they had a ball....that's one of the little things that make for a fun getaway. We got some of our breakfasts included in the stay and the food was great as were all of the friendly people in the restaurant. The front desk was very helpful and the housekeepers were all very sweet. We would all highly recommend Ocean Creek!

Had a great time at Ocean Creek. A large complex with lots of nice pools. We don't have kids, but family who traveled with us do, and there are lots of activities planned by the staff for the kids. Nice beach. We had a studio villa and was very nice. It could've been cleaned better, but not too bad. Other family had a condo in the north tower, which was really nice. I believe they are individually owned, so depends on the owner as to how nice each is. Breakfast buffet each day was good. I would recommend to family and friends.

We've been staying at ocean creek aka OC for at least 10 years now, and it just keeps getting better. The last few years we've moved up to the "towers", which means a sweet condo with lots of extras. Very clean and well kept, this means instant comfort. We had a long balcony with 2 sets of doors leading out, flat screen tv (awesome for gamecube on rainy days), washer dryer, etc etc. As far as what surrounds the condo, we had maybe a 10 minute hike to the beach. This of course depended on how quickly the kids moved and how much beach gear we hauled. My only complain would be the elevators--they need to add at least 2 more and speed up the whole process. The present 3 seem to be on their last leg, no joke. Lots of stuff to do around myrtle beach, but that goes without saying. Plenty to choose from in terms of restaurants, mini golf, shops etc. Ocean creek is directly across from the always busy Barefoot landing, which sports about a million shops, eateries, etc. Oh, I got online no problem with my psp while in my room....can't complain about that!
