I'll be honest, I was a little skeptical about booking during our anniversy because of so many mixed reviews, however I must say I was impressed!!! Apparantly the new owners renovated the property from what I understand, and the staff was truly amazing. We went out for dinner and upon returning actually found a pleasant anniversy card, bottle of wine and little cheese platter waiting for us when we got back. Needless to stay I'll be back, Thanks Crown Plaza!!

No Hot Water

Everything started out great!The next morning I bathed and the water went tepid...I thought it would heat up for my husband and as soon as he got in he asked if I had warm water.He showered in tepid/cool water.Called downstairs and was told they would send maintenance,but the point was he was already finished...A woman came up a few minutes later to say that the water heater was turned off and it had been turned back on...too,little too late.Even cheap hotels have hot water...I mentioned to front desk didn't know if anything could be done..she ,as beforementionted would find out if anyone ELSE was having a problem...we really meant nothing.STarted great,ENDED with a fizzle. Not a hot date for us.Happy Mothers day to you ,also.

A Great Place to Relax

I recently stayed at the Crowne Plaza while visiting Greenville. What a gem!! Everyone was very friendly and they even have a Ruth's Chris Steak House inside the hotel. My husband and I enjoyed our stay very much and made use of the complimentary shuttle service to visit the historic downtown as well as pick us up and take us back to the airport. We will definitely stay at this hotel for future trips to Greenville. This experience has made us want to make Crowne Plaza our preferred hotel of choice during travel.

Good Hotel

I stayed at the Crowne Plaza for two months on Business Travel, the rooms were clean, even though the maids didn't do the througest job cleaning, but it was average. Secondly the front desk was always helpful and the lobby was great, the pool and computer access their was excellant. It is in a great location right by he mall and overall was a good place to stay

I have stayed at this hotel for 3 years on business trips and every year it gets worse. It was my wishes things would improve but I have ended this relationship. Some of the reasons no one answers the room service phone, the elevator is broken every visit, snoty staff, and it never fails they rush you out of the room proir to check out.

I won't go back

The hotel itself was nice but staff at desk told me they would not charge my card as I had previously paid via Travelocity, then they charged my card two more times.They charged my credit card a total of three times for my stay. When I called to get it straightened out, I was told no manager/supervisor was on the premises and there was no one to help me. It took multiple phone calls to get it corrected. Our room was between the pool, meeting room and exercise room so quite noisy through the night. Pretty surroundings don't make up for a poor night's sleep. And I will never understand why they placed the coffee maker in the bathroom. Who wants to drink coffee that was made in the same room as a toilet?

Bugs in room! YUK!

We were expecting a lovely visit to Greenville. However while staying at this hotel my 10 month old, 8 year old and I left with red bug bites. Not sure what bit us but we were disgusted. It started a few moments after arriving in the room.

Great Hotel

The Crowne Plaza in Greenville was great! The service was wonderful and our entire stay was very enjoyable. The room and beds were both very comfortable. My family and I felt right at home.

Crowne Plaza's hotel in Greenville, SC was very nice. It was convenient to downtown. The bedding was wonderful. I've never slept so good away from home.
