WE CANT WAIT TO GO BACK
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/30/11
wE LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT EDEN RESORT. TOP OF THE LINE MANAGER, MARK CLOSSEY, AND CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NUMBER ONE TO HIM. HES THERE TO LISTEN AND HAS GONE ABOVE AND BEYOND WHAT WE COULD EVER OF EXPECTED. THE EMPLOYEES PRAISE HIME FOR THE TYPE OF PERSON HE IS, AND I CAN SEE WHY. HE CARES ABOUT ALL OF HIS PERSONELL, AS THEY SPEAK HIGHLY OF HIM. THE NOISE CAN BE ALITTLE IRRITATING, BUT EVERYTHING ELSE OUTWAYS IT.

Not Happy!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/8/11
Booked a room for a romantic get away with my wife. We are christains and figured from the reviews this would be a great hotel to get away. When we first arrived I noticed the noice from the road was very bad. Checked in and went to the room. Because of construction there was a big mud hole for a view. I asked if there was another room and was told no! The room was nice fire place and big screen tv. We were relaxing when the couple upsatirs decided to run a marathon! the Banging was incredible. I do understand how many times you could walk back and forth in an hotel room. The topper of the night was the contact high I recieved from the pot smoke coming from the other rooms. we went to the front to complain and thats when a room suddenly opened up! We left that night without staying in the hotel. We were never offered another stay discount or a discount on the smaller room they offered. My take on this is Big Resort little staff! I will never stay there again!!!

Okay Hotel.........
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/13/10
Spent a three day weekend here with hubby and baby-The website seemed more promising- maybe the other suites are better though; we stayed in the one room with king size bed. Not too much room in the drawers (very tiny), the curtains had stains and the ironing board cover was dirty. This hotel is non smoking but we found 2 small cigarette burns on the coverlet. I seem to find this problem with hotel chains. Next time we will stick to the "Inns".

Incredible Suites!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/11/10
The suites are perfect for families. The hotel looks brand new everywhere but the suites are just incredible. My kids loved having their own room with their own tv. The bath area was set up perfectly for everyone to get ready all at once. I swear this place is more like a Four Season than a Best Western. Even if they didn't haev anything else to offer I would stay becasue of the rooms but tehy also have two restaurants (only had the opportunity to eat breakfast at the hotel but it was great). The pools were beautiful and clean (only used the indoor pool since it was too cold for the outdoor one looked beautiful as well). The hotels location was perfect for us since we visited Hershey one day and toured the Lancaster area the other two. For us, it was the perfect choice. I'm already thinking about our next visit this upcoming summer.

One of the Best Hotels Ever!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/18/09
Do not listen to any of the bad reviews here - those people are obviously morons. I have traveled all over the world and stayed at the finest hotels and this one is simply one of the best. The attention to detail is incredible. Everything is super clean - we saw staff actually wiping down every bit of some wood molding in a hallway off the lobby and it wasnt even dirty! Every room has a super flatscreen TV you can hook up your PC or DVD player to, free internet and even a fax machine/printer on every work desk (never seen that before and always need a printer when working on business). The bathroom was amazing with a dual MOEN showerhead - one on the wall and another "rain shower" overhead. You could turn either one or both on at the same time (never seen that in a hotel either). The restaurants were fantastic too with great food. The staff was friendly, helpful and courteous - couldn't have been nicer. Those other people reporting otherwise must be on drugs or something!! I am going back in a month and would never even consider staying anywhere else in Lancaster.

WONDERFUL Experience
By KAREN, 6/18/09
Folks...went in as a skeptic after reading some of these reviews (of course after I booked.) Got a super cheap rate on line for a single rooms with 2 double beds. Was pleasantly surprised when they upgraded us to a Suite with a a fridge, microwave, separate bedroom for kids with bunk beds, 2 flat screens. The best part was that we were right next to the pool, kid's pool, and Pirate Ship tot-lot that they have. Check in was a snap (didn't run into that rude woman some people mentioned). I asked for a list of local restaurants...to which they gave me a 5 page packet with detailed directions. They girl who check me in took time to give me her favorite places. Check out was also very easy. I also received a survey from the Hotel the next day...so clearly they are interested in what customers have to day. I have to say...this will be my first choice when staying in the area again. It was simply a wonderful experience....don't let the negative reviews sway you.

Great hotel, looking forward to our return trip!
By Georgia W, 3/6/09
I don't get the negative reviews, however we enjoyed our stay. There was nothing to dislike about this hotel. Our room was very nice, clean and spacious, comfortable bed, nice tropical indoor pool, great food at Arthurs and a sports bar next door for nitecaps. Within minutes of shopping and dining if you choose not to eat at the hotel. We will be staying here again in two weeks, and are looking forward to it. We have stayed in many hotels over the years, and consider ourselves moderate budget travelers, not picky, but look for good service, quality rooms, cleanliness and overall good value, and this place fit the bill. It had everything we wanted for relaxing weekend ie; two restaurants, bar, indoor pool and it was a 10 minute drive from the horse stables that we visited during our stay. We also thought the perfect getaway package was good deal, with it included our room, breakfast and dinner, so it saved us time and money having to go out looking for a place to eat. There are an abundance of restaurants, but we knew we wanted to spend quality time at the hotel and horse farm, so chose the pkg deal and it worked out great!

Going back for the 3rd time!!
By Amy, 2/11/09
My goodness, I really don't understand all the negative reviews...Our 1st trip the ONLY issue we had that the door would not unlock to the pool (our room opened directly to the indoor pool) maintenance was there in under 5 min. and had the problem fixed. We use this hotel for Mid winter get aways. Love the restaurants and All of the staff has been extremely pleasant and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to Anyone!!

I would never go back!
We stayed at this hotel for a weekend getaway hoping to have a great experience. Little did we know we would be treated with the most disrespect. Our room was not clean when we first arrived, the bed sheets looked like they were not changed from the previous guest & there were no trash bags in the trash cans. We had the breakfast buffet and there wasn't much to offer with that. I would have been better off ordering off of a menu. When the weekend was over I went home and checked my bank statements online and came to notice that I had been charged more than what the hotel had told me physically and from what was on my reciept. So I called them up to have someone explain this to me and I got Eric, the hotel manager. He was very rude! Kept asking me questions like if I have ever stayed at other hotels b/c they all charge more than what is stated and just kept going on and on. I bearly got a word in inch wise and I have never had unexplained charges from anywhere else, EVER! All that aside, the hotel was nice and in good shape but that should be expected for a best western
