By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/4/10
DISLIKE! Rooms so dirty! Our feet were black just from wearing no socks in the room! The ice machine didn't work. Parking was a nightmare. Front desk staff RUDE, and our room phone did not work. Beds are TINY!

By KellyW, 3/13/10
crown plaza was a joke we booked two rooms online thru priceline and paid in full. so we check in and we're impressed with the lobby wrong front desk is on second floor had to pay to park no body but a valet was waiting for us with his hand out no carts and nobody to carry bags what is this a ecno lodge??? so we find front desk and check in gave them the card for"incindentals" kinda understandable might want room service at two in the morning wrong again no room service but here's the kicker they ran our card twice once for their incidental charge the second for another room we had already paid for so the mistake was quickly relized and we got told that it would be taken care of well wrong again it's been over two weeks several long grueling calls and still no refund granted they don't actually have the money it's a pending charge on our card that the bank can't do anything about because the hotel hasn't released it yet numerous phone calls and finally getting irrate with customer service has maybe got it straightened out but who know still have to wait till middle of next weeek to find out if they release my funds would not recommend to anybody oh and i never got my little sleep bag thingy the other room did but we didn't no pool under construction restaraunt downstairs is noisy and and overpriced the only plus was starbucks instead of nasty hotel room coffee DON'T GO HERE tulsa has way better to offer look around cheaper too this hotel is sooo...over rated bed was hard too many pillows on beds no animenities no food in hotel at all after resturant closes until 9am not even a vending machine

An Extraordinary Evening
By SC, 7/22/09
We stayed during Mayfest, the local arts festival. Our 6th floor room overlooked the courtyard of the Crowne Plaza where the bands were playing and the festival was at it's peak. We walked to a nearby restaurant late that night and felt very safe in the area. You can walk to the new BOK Center from the hotel, too! We had a fantastic time!

Lodger Beware!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/7/09
Econo Lodge in Disguise. Find other accommodations unless you’re into disappointment. No directional signage – anywhere. You’ll have to search or ask directions for parking, check-in (temporary appearing podium like stands), and the elevators. Reserved a king bed weeks ago, but they gave me a room with two double beds– but it was on the “Club Floor” – had to use key card on elevator just to get to the more exclusive “club floors”, so I was feeling pretty exclusive on my elevator ride! Well that wonderful exclusive feeling ended quickly as I discovered that the room backed next to the elevators, Honestly, I hardly noticed the sound of the elevators for a couple of hours. After working all day at a stressful job, driving 4 hours to reach my hotel, I was looking forward to a relaxing evening only to find that just below the windows of my exclusive “club” room was an outside stage with a very loud playing band which reverberated the windows, preventing any sane conversation, and you could forget watching television. (I realize it must have been much worse for those on the lower floors, tho!) I called to find out how long the entertainment would last and the girl responded cheerfully “a couple more hours.” I did find in my room a little “Sleep Advantage” bag supplied by the hotel – equipped with ear plugs and a cd of soothing music. (How does one listen to soothing music with ear plugs?!) Finally, at 11:15 the music stopped. Unfortunately, the music was covering up the incessant churning of the elevators. At midnight and tensions flaring, made another call. No, they didn’t have any other rooms – all booked – sorry. So was I as the toilet started running on it’s own – constantly refilling the tank, on top of not flushing well to begin with. At that point I was exhausted and there was no way I was calling to get maintenance in to try and fix it. So, I rigged the closet door (the closet doors, located next to the bathroom door, were broken and wouldn't close) so that I could close the bathroom door all the way to muffle the sound in the bathroom. If the closet door wasn’t rigged, one could risk ripping it off the hinges in the dark night when pressing through to the bathroom. Then the water pipes from the room next door began knocking. I began to fear that the 10 plagues were coming next. In attempting to set the alarm clock for an early escape, I discovered that once turned, the alarm clock made a constant buzzing sound so I turned that off in favor for my quiet cell phone alarm. Finally got some sleep. The morning didn’t improve things much. A huge puddle, probably from the toilet running all night, was between the tub and the toilet and the water temperature in the shower fluctuated from cool to not quite warm enough. The one positive experience with Crowne Plaza: I checked out that morning, a day early, with no hassles from the staff. The most pleasant moment in the last 14 hours.

Avoid at all costs
By Jim, 3/28/08
It is NOTHING like the website. Major reconstruction going on, NO furniture in lobby lower or upper level, most amenities closed. Pool closed indoor and outdoor. Lounge/ bar closed. spa and shops closed. No restaraunt except a temporary thing set up with card tables in the hallway, temp front desk small, hard to find, no help getting bags in,no cart to use, no redcaps, employees seem confused about parking set up. this place will be a mess for a while.

Watch out for priceline-like deals!
By Debi, 3/21/08
I thought the price was right, but as they say,"if it sounds too good to be true..." You dont have any choice for parking,it's pay $5.50 with a parking pass from the hotel that they didn't tell me about, pay $12.50 for overnight parking (if the hotel neglects to tell you about the parking situation),or pay a valet to park your car. The whole place is under construction,so get ready for the dust and noise! The room was clean, but the carpet in front of the bathroom was very wet. They said there was lavender spray for the pillows as well as a sleep disc, eye mask, and ear plugs as a part of a sleep comfort program, but all I saw was the disc.

I will pass next time
By Trudianne, 1/7/08
Our Xmas party was held here for the holidays. When first trying to book my room I dealt with very rude customer service on the phone. When I was emailed my confirmation it had a higher dollar amount than what I was told was the rate for the holiday party. I called again and dealt with more rude customer service. Once we had our party the next day I checked my charges on my credit card and because I paid with a debit card there was an additional 50.00 charge for authorization fees. I called again and spoke with more rude customer service and was informed there is a note posted on the front desk that if you are paying with a debit card there is a 50.00 authorization fee that will be given back to you in 6-7 business days. Just in case there were charges to the room. Becasue as I am checking in I have all the time in the world to sit there and read the notes by the desk as I am trying to juggle my luggage and sign away my life to them. There were no additional charges, but they were quick enough to get my bill under my door by 6am check out moring, which did not have the 50.00 authorization charges on there either. I will never stay with this hotel chain again. I was very very disappointed in the service for such a "high class" hotel.
