Not worth the hassle
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/28/09
This is a clean hotel in a good part of town, and I've stayed here multiple times. But last stay was awful. They had repeated problems with the internet, and the help desk was unresponsive, tech was slow. Online help service was useless. Upon checking out, the parking charge was not included on my bill, and I need that submit expenses. I asked for an updated statement which I got after a 10 minute wait, and today I got my credit card statement and was double charged for parking. After talking to four different reps on the three different calls, I finally got someone who alledgedly is refunding this. Not worth the bother. There are other decent hotels in OKC.

Never a sheraton again!
By Maximus, 04/28/09
Stayed for 2 days for O.K.C. memorial Marathon. Upon arrival were told where to park for free. little did I know the free parking ticket cost $10. Went to our room next to the Elevators which sounded like The motor speedway. They were curtious enough to move us to another room. Tried to sleep but the paper thin walls picked up every slamming door all night long. Got up to go eat the free breakfast promised by the reservationist but were told the ticket for the free breakfast cost $14. After seeing the town came back to the Hotel to find ourselves locked out of our room. Called service desk to let them know of our problem they said they would send servce right up. After waiting 10 minutes went downstairs ourselves and had the key reprogrammed and returned to the room. About 10 minutes later service people showed up at the door. Oklahoma city is a great city to visit. Dont stay at the Sheraton.

Poor Workmanship
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/11/07
The hotel was not up to Sheraton's normal standards. The plumbing wasn't up to par and there was no clearance between the bathroom sink handles and the wall. It was a hassle everytime I used it. The toilet ran, and the doors from the rooms into the hallway didn't fit properly so they made a loud noise everytime one closed. The guests have no phone communication with bellmen or housekeeping without going through someone at the front desk who tracks everything to be sure it gets done. This tells me their management is suspicious, or that they don't hire capable people in housekeeping, etc. Food service excellent.

Overpriced for what you get
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/20/07
Stayed here while in OKC for RHCP Concert, normally stay at the Renaissance, tried something new. Bathrooms were small, small, small, room was $249 for one night and should have been about $100. No room service available after concert, only on weekends, staff wasn't friendly or very helpful.

Not my favorite in OKC
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/18/07
We chose to stay here because of the location. The location is great because it is within walking distance of everything in bricktown. The service was great, but we were very unimpressed with the rooms for the price. They had comfortable beds and bedding, but the carpet looked dirty and the bathroom wasn't too clean. The inside of the rooms looked more like a $50 hotel, not the $135 we spent. We will not stay here again.

Ouch!
By Jennifer, 07/29/06
Gee wizz... where do I start? The pool was closed for two of the five days we were there. The staff claimed the pool would be opened the next day, but NO it was the day after that when we had to much stuff to do for the rest of the time. We did not get to go swimming. The staff was rude. One person staying with me wanted a bath mat so she wouldn't slip and fall and she asked for it four times in three days and she never got it. Our bath tub leaked. The maid didn't speak one word of english and one day all she did was put towels in the bathroom. That was the day we didn't have any toilet paper and we still didn't so we had room service to bring us a roll. The maid only put three towels in our room and there were four people staying in the room so whoever took a shower last was the odd man out and didn't get a towel. The first night we were there one elevator was stuck on the basement floor and another wasn't working at all. The second day the stuck elevator wasn't stuck anymore, but the broken one was still broken for the rest of the time.

TRIED TO BOOK MULTIPLE ROOMS! WOULDN'T ALLOW ME TO BOOK MORE THAN 2 ROOMS UNDER THE SAME NAME!! I NEEDED 4 ROOMS!! I DON'T KNOW WHO ELSE WILL BE GOING THIS FAR IN ADVANCE, BUT I WANTED TO GET THE HOTEL ROOMS RESERVED BEFORE THEY WERE BOOKED UP!! TOLD ME IF I BOOKED IT UNDER SOMEONE THAT WASN'T GOING, I MAY LOSE THE ROOM BUT STILL HAVE TO PAY FOR IT!!! STUPID!! WHAT'S IT MATTER WHO BOOKS THE ROOM AS LONG AS IT GETS PAID FOR?!! IF I BOOK IT UNDER SOMEONE THAT WINDS UP NOT GOING I HAVE TO CALL BACK AND CHANGE THE NAMES...WHAT A HASSLE......EXTREMELY DISGUSTED!!!

Very Average
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/15/06
The room was quite but the sheets were not very clean and they do not offer shower caps in the bathroom. It is pretty close to OUHSC and taxis are available for transportation.
