Third Time Is A Charm
On December 6th, 2005, my family and I spent the night at the Comfort Inn of Ardmore on our way to Shreveport, Louisiana. The previous two nights, we spent $80 and $90 at other brands which we thought were going to be good stays, but little did i know that when they say they leave the light on, they really do. Considering the bad experiences, I didn't even want to go back and tell them how aweful the stays were. I just wanted to get back up and keep driving. But luckily my wife was getting tired and wanted to pull over. My most important thought is for the wellfare of my family, and their needs come first, so i felt obligated to stay another night in the hands of others instead of being in my own bed in the comfort of my own home. But on our third night away, Comfort was what we got. We stopped in Ardmore, Oklahoma and found the Comfort Inn which was conveniently located right off of I-35 at Exit 31A. When we arrived, needless to say, i was already in a bad mood, but the clerk took my attitude and turned it back around. He was very pleasant and made me feel welcomed. It felt good to know that i was stopping and spending my family's money with somebody who really did appreciate us staying. I could go on and on about the entire staff from the night time clerk up to the breakfast staff, but there isn't enough room for myself to elaborate. But that wasn't the best part though! When we got to the hotel, the clerk said there were four rooms left. I opted to take one of the Non-Smoking Double rooms, which was ideal for myself and the family. Again the room was $80, but this time, it was so worth it!!!! When we arrived to the room, there was a fresh pleasantness that filled our hearts. As I opened the door, I could tell that this place actually took pride and care into every stitch that they had put into every step of the way. Whether iwt was taking my shoes off and putting my feet on the soft carpet, or opening up the frig and microwave located in the corner to put our water and food in for the next day, it was the starters for a grand night. We were so relaxed that after a short nap, we decided to go out for a walk. When we walked outside, we were hit by the silence and the calm cold air as we walked next door to Two Frogs Grill where we ate well. The night was great and we slept almost too comfortably as it was so hard to wake up and get back on the road. Checkout was noon, but the clerk at the front gave us the option of a late checkout which we indulged in, but not before we went down and took advantage of the Free Hot Breakfast they had supplied for all the guests. I can't wait to get back on the road again, because i know where i will be staying in Ardmore. They always say that the third time is a charm, and those who say it are right! I will reccoment this place to my friends and family. I suggest that you try them out, and trust me when i say...you will feel the same!!
