GREAT

We had a very unpleasant experience on our flight to Lawton, but our stay at this Western changed our trip to a pleasant trip. Price was great. Front desk service was extremely professional. Breakfasts were super. We were attending our grandson's boot camp graduation at FT. Sill. We recoment this to anyone doing the same.

Worse stay ever!!!!

Highly disappointed with the hotel stay. Paid for 2 nights and only stayed 12 hours before leaving. Sheets were dirty, room smelled, ants in bathroom, air conditioner didn't work and it was 105 degrees outside, and pool was dirty. Stayed here because they allowed pets. Had one dog and paid the $40 pet fee. Housekeeping, which never entered the room, reported that I had more dogs and was charged an additional $40 without asking me. Told the manager when checking out that the stay was horrible and she didn't even care. Would rather sleep in the car then stay there again. BEWARE!!!!!!

Dirty - Go some where else.

The staff was nice, the hot FREE breakfast was satisfactory. Great location for Fort Sill, dinning and shopping. The rooms were dirty, wall paper pealing from the walls in the bathroom. Poor servicing of the room leaving us to request more towels, soaps, and toilet paper. When I complained after returning home I was offered a 1 room 1 day refund which has not been credited as of yet. Try another hotel in the area.

soiled sheets,bugs, and roger banks

If you care about the safety of your mother or grandmother stay away from this hotel. Roger Banks the manager got very angry and abusive when my mother and her sisters asked for clean sheets,they asked because the sheets looked soiled and there was a bug on the bed. Instead of accommodating them he threw them out at almost midnight. with no place to go. These are retired women who traveled from out of state to see their sick brother. My mother who is a widow was shaking from fear, because she did not understand what was happening to her. She was already in her pajamas and was tired after traveling all day.

The Grass is Greener on the other side of the Hwy

Shows lack of cleaning and care. I have stayed here several times in the past, but the custmer care/service are not that good. I went acoss the Hwy and was in shock on the custmer care and friendliness compared to Best Western for the same price. Dont take my word for it but look into the much newer hotels just acoss the St. and see that the grass is greener on the other side

I'd LOVE to go back!

I joined my husband on a business trip to Lawton, I don't know if every room has one but I suffer from chronic back pain & I woke up feeling so good that I seriously had my husband take the sheet off to see what kind of mattress it was, I was impressed to find out a motel had a $1,700.00 set of mattresses but I bought a set anyways, Changed my life! .. the front desk clerk was super kind, and they give you tickets to come down in the morning to thier on site restuarant to have a real breakfast, but sorry to say I slept in and missed but has to beat the muffin and coffee like most Best westerns, and our room had it's own private balcony that was so nice and quiet to just relax on.. so if your ever in Lawton I HIGHLY recommend it =)

Enjoyed the stay

Wow if your looking for a hotel with a great pool, this is the best! They have a very nice outdoor pool! It is spread out enough that many groups can enjoy the water, without being bothered by one another! They also have a little kiddy pool that is perfect for the little ones. They have an indoor pool but since I went in the summer I didn't take the time to check it out! The food is good, you should check out the buffet on Friday night. The room was clean, newly remodled, Air worked Great! The bathroom could have used a little more work! Drains in the tub are slow! And the showers could have used some updates. But they were Clean!! We also had a little balcany, that was great to sit and enjoy the night! Over all I would have to say the trip went well and the sevice was very friendly! If the pool is important to you, You shouldn't miss this one!!

Not Worth The Money

The good points are: The breakfast is a great value and they have a variety of selections. The restaurant has excellent food. They are close to Fort Sill so you have easy access, the beds are soft. The Bad: The outdoor pool was so filthy we could not swim in it for our entire stay, the carpets are filthy and even coming up in some places. There is a general feeling of lack of maintaince. There was a weather releated power outage during our stay and they did not even have flashlights for the guests and the hotel staff was not helpful, we only saw one staff person the whole dark night and believe me when the power goes out, it is very very dark in your rooms. Thank gosh cell phones provide enough light to find the bathroom. Since this area is rated as 2nd in the nation for summer storms and tornados we were very suprise that they were not prepared for the weather event. I do have to say that after I returend from our trip I complained to Best Western Customer Service. Best Western Corp informed me that future guests will not have the same experience that we had (but do you really want to take that chance??). They have been made to stock flashlights and glow sticks plus other safety measures/prepardness for weather related issues. Next time I will stay at the Ramada.

Very helpful staff

We booked 2 rooms at this hotel to attend our son's graduation from Army Basic Training. The staff is extremely helpful. They actually seem to be grateful for our visit. Full breakfast buffet (not continental) was included. Good breakfast and what a savings! You even need your key to get into hallway so you don't want to go too far without your key.
