No More Baymont for me!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/18/11
During the work week, I've made the Baymont Inn my "home away from home" for a while now. The rooms sometimes have a looming "arouma" but over all for the money, it was an okay place to camp. Lately, the front desk help (specifically Karen) has gone out of her way to be rude and unhelpful and after finding bugs in my bed last week, I will now find a new place to call home during the week. The price is very good if you don't mind rude/hateful staff who act as if THEY are doing YOU a favor by booking a room for you and sharing your bed with the occasional bugs.

Worst experience ever
By Michelle, 6/29/10
This is the most unsafe place. We stayed two nights with our 3 teenage boys, on both nights the police were in the parking lot, spot lights, beating on doors, people working on cars in the parking lot at 3am woke us all up. No eating establishments within 2 miles, gnats in the room like crazy and the people at the front desk were very rude. When I called to ask if we were safe in our room (police banging on door downstairs) she told me it is 11pm is any place safe, she let me know that she doesn't feel safe at her own home at 11pm. Do not stay here!

It was Ok
By Christopher C, 4/29/10
Was ok with the room, Hotel was under renovation. I did not spend too much time in the room, other to sleep and get ready for the game. Breakfast was ok in the morning, toaster could have been a little bit better. I did like the price and I paid for what i got.

Not what i expected
By ec, 9/27/08
This hotel looks nice in the pictures, but the location was scary and there was nothing around to eat. We stayed there only for a night, but since there was nothing to do we tried ordering a movie, but you have to go to the front desk which leaves you walking across the parking lot and it was raining so we just ended up sleeping. The breakfast in the morning was good, but the apple juice was watered down. The pool was very small and didnt look clean. I thought the room looked clean but my puppy seemed to drag out used straws and other things from weird places and it was a very small room. Even though the people seemed friendly, i didnt feel to particularlly safe in the neighborhood. I tried to make it a good experience, but i wont stay here again.

It's OK...
By youdontknowme113, 7/20/08
Manager checked me in when I arrived, she was nice enough until I requested a room facing away from the street and not too close to the pool. Apparently she's really into playing God with the guests. No business center, so unless you have a laptop, no internet. No fitness center either, but the hotel has an agreement with the gym around the corner, if you show your room key, you can work out for a $5 per day fee. No fridge or microwaves in room, but you can request them for a $2 per day fee.(there is a walmart nearby) Hotel is located on a one-way street, so you have to go the long way around if you are heading back in the opposite direction. My room (150) needed new carpet, but at least the air conditioning was already running. I was not asked for a credit card apon checking in.

We always come back to Baymont in South Oklahoma City
By James, 6/18/08
Any time we have a reason to go to Oklahoma City we stay at the Baymont south. It is always clean and the staff is always polite and curtious. The breakfast has a good selection. I'm diabetic and they have items I can have for breakfast. My husband loves the Belgium waffles so he is always happy to stay there. If we ever had a problem with our room, the staff was able to correct it promptly. ? The value for todays market exceeds our expectations. The only short comings is there are few resturants close by for dining. We recommend Baymont South to all our friends and family when they come to visit.

How can peope give this 5 stars???
By CynthiaR, 2/21/08
We stayed at the Baymont at the end of a cross-country move. First, the hotel (actually a motel) is off a service road next to an abandoned restaurant and is not in the best part of town. There are no restaruants nearby and thankfully, Papa Johns delivers. My husband went in to check in. The clerk made an imprint of his credit card, walked away for a second and "lost it." She asked to make a second imprint, which did not make us feel good. We didn't like a copy of his card wandering around. As he checked in, I watched as a fellow guest stood in the parking lot, popped some pills, and then began to shoot birds in the tree with a sling shot. As my husband and I grabbed our baggage out of our car, a guest on an upper balcony commented on all the "nice stuff" we had in our moving truck and mini van, which made us feel that all our life possessions would be gone in the morning. As we walked to our room, we passed three groups of people sitting outside of the rooms and by the pool drinking, most intoxicated. We checked into the room, which is the smallest hotel room I've ever stayed in. The doors are on the exterior and the keys were not the electronic, reprogrammable type that make you feel more secure. The keys were old. The door frame was bent, like it had been kicked in before. The room was infested with flies. The shower was dark and dreary. The towels were thin. The air conditioner didn't work. Half the lamps didn't work. Needless to say, I didn't sleep soundly. We got up in the morning to a horrible continental breakfast, but all of our belongings, thankfully, were safe and sound.

Will not come back
I would have to rate this baymont at the bottom of my list. Outlets did not work, sheets did not fit the bed, internet went down daily, room VERY SMALL, I would NOT reccomend this hotel to anyone.

This was wonderful for the price!
By DALE & FRAN, 3/22/07
I was welcomed at the Baymont Inn in Oklahoma City by a friendly, tireless face. This person made sure she covered everything I needed and even printed out directions for my next day's designation in Oklahoma City. Upon entering my room, I found everything extremely clean and pleasant. The room was equipped with anything I may need, a closet, coffee pot, iron and board, two phones, working lights, plenty of towels, soap and a clean bed. The recliner was nice as well. The breakfast was great. The Baymont was very refreshing.

Good Cheap Inn
By ao, 7/6/06
I liked the cleanliness of the room, it it was quite large. It's a plus that it is so clean given the fact that they allow pets. The breakfast was bland and I was under the impression they had internet service in the rooms but there isn't. The location is right off the highway but a bit too far south of town for my liking. However, if I had some business in south OKC or was passing through and needed a rest stop I would definelty go there you can't beat the price for what you get.
