Awesome place :) would stay there again
By Ash, 10/25/09
For $99 we stayed in a large, clean, beautiful room! the whole hotel has an amazing look, felt like a queen staying there. room service is expensive however, along with everything in the minibar (but when is that stuff ever cheap?). We loved and would stay there again for sure. It was a small walk away from stores and fountain square.

Historic building meets 1980s style.
By chroneos, 06/14/08
We booked a room at the Cincinnatian last month, as an impromptu trip from Louisville, KY. When we checked in, we received a complimentary upgrade to a junior suite and a $25 room service credit. The room was an atrium view, which wasn't exciting, but the balcony was a nice place for friends to sit when they came to visit. We used our room service credit for breakfast, which arrived at the exact time we requested. We only stayed one night, so there were a number of things we didn't utilize enough to review, otherwise, it was a pleasant stay. One thing to note is that the hotel underwent a renovation about 20 years ago, and it's starting to show its age, so if you're finnicky about the way your room is decorated, that might be a point of contention, but otherwise it's a great place in downtown Cincinnati.

Not a four star !!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/03/07
We've stayed at many 3& 4 stars. This was not even close. The room was over the inhouse bar with loud music.(4th floor). They moved us to 8th floor with a room with a covered window overlooking an alley with an outdoor bar with music full speed. The room was small and dirty carpeting. It was classified as luxury with sitting area. I suppose one chair next to the closet is a sitting area! However this is not what we expected. Very disappointed with AAA's review. We checked out, not even spending the night. The asst. manager came up and heard the music. She agreed with us and we got a full refund. The photos on theri web page are deceiving. Not a place We would ever recomend.

Enjoyed the stay!!!
By travel qa, 03/22/07
The location was perfect and the staff went out of their way to assist us with information on ski packages, tours and shopping. The service was great! The complimentary breakfast was a real treat and a money saver. We met other guests from all over the United States and enjoyed visiting with

They aim to please!!!
By Kates, 01/21/07
It was a beautiful hotel with excellent service. The room was more than we expected with an over sized tub and everything someone could possibly need or want. They even came and turned down our beds and left us homemade cookies. Their goal was definitely to please and it showed. Was worth every penny and would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Nice place
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/28/06
After reading alot of negative posts, I was not sure what to expect. This place was great. My only complaint is that they charge $25.00 to park.

Very misleading for a 4 star hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/06/06
The street level noise and hotel noise was so loud that we were up all night. There is about an inch gap between the floor and the door. We also heard the people walking in their room above us all night. I was ready to pack up and leave around 2:30 a.m.

SMALL ROOMS-NOT GREAT
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/03/06
My boyfriend and I are from Columbus, OH and we went to Cincinnati and stayed at the Cincinnatian for New Years Eve. I have to say the hotel itself is beautiful and the entrance is decorated with absolute amazement, but for the price you are paying($225-$1100/night) is absolutely not worth it. The rooms are extremely tiny and the decorating skills in them need to be updated. I personally thought the bed and the pillows were very uncomfortable when sleeping. We also went to breakfast the next morning at the Palace and it was really nice, but the eggs benedict were a little cold. My boyfriend loved his omlett and he stated that it was a lot better then our New Years Eve dinner at Daveeds(read review). Overall- Would not go again, it was way to expensive and the SMALL room didn't have anything amazing in it to cost $225.00.

A perfect hotel for the leisure traveler
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/21/05
Some quick highlights such as extremely comfortable beds, excellent overall service, oversized and keenly decorated bathrooms were impressive. The rooms were nicely decorated however, they were pretty small. Both times I have stayed there the rooms have been a bit noisy, interior rooms open to an atrium (the noise travels up) and the exterior rooms are subject to the street noise. Be aware that they have a 72 hour cancellation policy and they will enforce it.
