Disappointed.

i recently stayed at the LaQuinta inn, 2447 Brice Road, Reynoldsburg,ohio, June 30th - July 4th,2010. The beds were comfortable, bathroom was okay. water ran a bit slow down facebowl. carpet into the hallway leading directly to our room was very filthy, nasty, and they had people there with dogs. i had three in my party and we all three suffer with bad allergies. the entire time we came thru the hallway, it was smelly, we were sneezing, ears itching, throat itching, throat itching so terriby we were sounding like a frog that was up all nite long making noises. even though we located Benadryl, still had the itchiness. eyes red, and swollen. taking benadryl to help not to mention it made us very sleepy for driving. we did not have a pleasant stay at all. i stayed here years ago and no animals were allowed. we really had a bad stay at this location and i was a bit disappointed by Laquinta. we had to request that our bed linens were changed. otherwise, breakfast was ok. the only way i stay again, hotel has to be remodeled with carpets brand new.

We only stayed one night, but I was very impressed with the room, the staff and the hotel in general. It's very centrally located, and just off the freeway which made it easy to find. The staff was very pleasant and helpful, and they are extremely pet friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the outside noise level was minimal. Even the continental breakfast was good! The only thing that could be improved on was the in-room coffee...there was only one packet for a very small coffee maker...and cream/sugar enough for one person. Be sure to ask for extra at check-in.

Great Location but Needs an Upgrade

This hotel couldn't have a better location. If you want to attend World Harvest Church, awesome shopping, wonderful restaurants--you couldn't ask for a better location. La Quinta is just OLD. When you think of staying in a hotel, you want to bathe in the tub and take your shoes off. The tub was OLD and drained very slowly and since this hotel allows pets and I was on the first floor and it was RAINING ALL WEEKEND, the carpeted floor felt grimy and it smelled funny. The room service is excellent, especially the homemade complimentary waffles! You can also order movies, music and video games in your room which is certainly a plus. On the bright side, the price isn't bad and once they do some upgrading, many hotels will have trouble competing! On a scale of 1-10, I'd give my overall stay a 4.5. ~Love to Travel, from Michigan.
