Not good for business travelers, but ok overall

I was teed off when I first got to the and got my room. This is a typical 70's or 80's holidome in most towns. The rooms are old and antiquated, even if they are called "updated". The only spare outlet was the one in the bathroom. The place is overall clean and the service is pretty good. The real upside is that it has a pretty popular bar and as I was here for a few days, it worked out okay. The pool is big and clean. They gym sucks and they shouldn't even say they have one!

I had to fly into the area and checked into the hotel around 8:30pm. Exhausted, I decided to order room service, but seeing no 'business hours" I assume it was 24/7. I woke up around 9:50, checked out the selections, called, and was told room service had just closed. Bummer, but they have a restaurant, right? When down to find out the resturarant also stops serving at 10:00. Don't stay here if you might have to work late.
 
 
 
 
 
Like the smallest 'full size' beds ever?

Working my way thru a lobby of drunken, cursing weddding guests at 2:30AM I was more than ready for some shut eye..my party booked 3 rooms..I'm 6.6" and my wife and I were crammed together in this Thumbelina sized bed..laughably small..Full size? Queen? my party found some green stains on the sheets..housekeeping noisy and clogs the halls in the morning.. Old and in need of a makeover!.Avoid this place at all costs..
 
 
 
 
 
Bed Bugs

I stayed at this hotel for business on Tuesday, April 1, 2008. I went to get into bed that night and pulled the sheets back to find a bed bug motoring along the sheets. I killed it and brought it to the front desk. The person behind the desk relocated me to a different room. I didn't get any sleep that night and spoke to a manager the following morning. I was given credit for the room. I will not stay there again.

Not Bad

Average accomidations, friendly and well attentive staff. I didnt stay in the hoell long much. Would have liked larger beds, The one I had slanted a bit.

To be avoided until they clean up their act

You can rate a hotel by using your nose. One sniff and you know this hotel does not take its cleaning responsibilities seriously. Decor is dated and worn. Staff is listless. Meeting rooms are dingy with water-stained ceilings and poor HVAC. Rooms have wall-rattling AC. Despite No Smoking designation rooms smell of smoke from other areas in the hotel. Lets not ignore the cleaning staff, who seem to delight in blocking hallways and elevators during the morning rush of 7 to 9 AM. This is clearly one hotel that just doesn't get it. If you have to attend a meeting at this place, stay at one of the neighboring hotels.

I dream to come back
