Unkept and poorly managed
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/4/11
So we checked in at night around 12 and parking was horrible as everyone had parked in NO PARKING blocking the entrance, we had to stop our car before the covered area to complete our check in process. First of all we were given a handicap room (though we reserved a regular room with two beds and refrigerator) that also didn't had any privacy lock or security latch, we called the night clerk to which he said that rest of all similar rooms were sold out (so they gave me a crappy room). He shifted us to so called non-smoking suite which definitely smelled like smoking and unclean microwave, stained shower curtains and hair in bath tub. Next morning we decided to limit our stay to 1 day as we didn't wanted to spend another $80 on such a crappy place. We had to wait 20 minutes to check out along with three other guests as the front desk clerk was busy handling the breakfast. Its a poorly managed property with no focus guest comfort and service. It is much worse than what all I can write here.

Should have listened-never go again
By Janet, 4/26/10
Went to Cicinnati for a organization meeting. The organization made reservations. I looked up the hotel and saw the reviews. I contacted the person that made the reservations and told them of the poor reviews. They allegedly sent someone there to look the place over and said it was OK. The organization reserved 14 rooms. There were complaints about every room-all were multiple. The night clerk said to check with the manager the next day-Sunday. He never came in. In my room the floor was dirty, the spigot in the bathtub leaked, the plate behind the faucetr for the bath was broken, the ceiling was cracked, the windows were dirty, someone was running a vacum cleaner in the hallway at 11:30 PM WE SHOULD HAVE LISTENED TO THE REVIEWS !!!

We won't go back!!
By ilsisterbaker, 6/23/08
The hotel neighborhood was littered with broken bottles, trash, and questionable people. It is located within walking distance of downtown, but we would not walk after dark. The bathroom had roaches an 1" long and carpets would turn your feet black. Also the seams were unraveling. The eggs on the breakfast bar tasted as if they were made of half water and the 2 toasters wouldn't work at the same time. Making it hard to get breakfast quickly. I would not recommend it to anyone.

Tired
By Keith Dolbermann, 5/8/08
This hotel apparently changed from a Crowne Plaza to a Ramada some years ago. There are NO amenities. The restaurant and bar are closed. There is no fitness center. There is a complimentary breakfast served in what used to be the restaurant. There are no restaurants within walking distance except for a White Castle across the street. The rooms are decent sized, the beds comfortable and seem fairly new. The bathrooms are another case altogether and are badly in need of remodeling. Tubs have been refinished and are peeling badly. Public areas are tired and in need of new carpet, paint, and most of all a thorough cleaning. Wireless internet is sporadic at best, although it is free. While close to downtown it is not within walking distance to major attractions. It does have free off street parking.

Wouldn't recommend
By schultzie57, 4/22/08
The desk clerk was very friendly but the room was a big disapointment. The bathtub appeared to have been painted and was peeling so badly that we were afraid to take a bath. The toilet either would continue to run or alternately, not flush at all. There were outlet covers completely missing from the walls and the bathroom mirror had a corner piece missing. Obviously this hotel is in desperate need of remodeling. The breakfast bar was passable but hardly worth the stay. I believe I stayed in this hotel years ago and was instantly reminded of that fact when I had to limbo to get under the shower head (and I am not that tall). We will probably return to Cincinnati but will definately look into a different hotel.

don't waste your time
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/5/07
after reading the reviews on here and seeing many that were not favorable...we decided to give it a shot in hopes that the hotel had improved.... BAD idea. we checked in and went to our room, the room was disgusting.... dirty, had not been cleaned yet, old towels and sheets were thrown about the room and there were dirty plastic utensils on the floor. yikes! we immedietly returned to the front desk and left to stay at another hotel - don't make the same mistake

okay, I guess.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/15/07
The front desk clerk was very nice, but we were told they had a indoor pool. The pool was out side and to cold, even for July, to even consider swimming. The stuff, other than the front desk clerk, was rud and acted as if they were doing us a favor just by being there. Would not go back!

Worst Hotel Yet for noise....
By AJr, 12/30/06
This hotel sits between two major roads yet does not have noise reduction windows. When I called the desk to move to the othe side of hotel, the clerk said that it was worse on the other side. We tried to get some sleep with cotton in our ears but it was useless. Worst night ever in a hotel for us. (12/06)

Best deal in town
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/11/06
This may be the best kept secret in town. It was cheaper than all of the rest. The staff was friendly and the service was nice. They have a super fast internet connection.

Too Old!!
By beth, 1/23/06
The hotel was in an area that was not condusive to peace and quiet. The traffic noise was rampant all night. Also, the hotel had an air of neglect that seemed infused within the walls. The service and food were adequate.
