NASTY, FILTHY, ROOMS!
We (tried) to stay at this motel in Monroe, 3/4/06. They gave us a room, we were tired from driving all day. At first glance we could see the room was dirty,however the lighting was very poor. I told my husband I hated to go through the hassle of moving to another room and all. We took the sheet from the other bed and layed it on top off the one we were going to sleep on, (hoping they had washed at least the sheets) The longer we laid there, the more obvious of how nasty the room was set in. I went in the bathroom, which had 2 repaired?? holes in the door, and had to lay a towel on the floor to even attempt to use their bathroom. I looked at the shower it didn't even have a head on it, when you turned it on, it just ran down the side of the wall! The bathtub had black handprints and rings all around it. We said thats it, went to try to get money back, they said they would put us in another room, looked at it and said no, "just give us our money back and we will be on our way" Long story short, they refused, said they were PRIVATELY OWNED and their was nothing we could do!! This motel is owned by foreigners, who can barely speak english, and who obviously feel they can take advantage of the American people!! BEWARE OF THIS MOTEL!! FILTHY!!
