Cedar Points Hotel Breakers, Sandusky

My family and I go to Cedar Point every summer and we always stay at the Breakers. It is the most relaxing, cleanest hotel I have ever stayed at and the look and feel is so comforting. The best hotel I've ever stayed at.

We always stay on the Cedar Point property when on vacation. We have stayed here three twice and twice at camper village and once at Castaway Bay, we enjoy them all. It's perfect so you can walk right over to the back gate and get in. You get discount ticketts and can get in earlier. It's right on the beach and it's bueatiful and there is a pool outside along the walkway and a pool inside too. It's great! The food at TGI Friday's isn't that great though and service twice wasn't great either. We would try somewhere else next time. Other than that we love staying on the grounds it's so convenient and lots of fun. The room was good, but not really large, I think we had two queen size beds and three children, my youngest was still in a crib. The pizza down stairs was good. Have fun! They have people to help with your baggage which is nice.

I liked how relaxing it was and I liked how close it was to cedar point. It is in walking distance. No real dislikes. Im going there again this year.

I loved the hotel breakers not only because its so close to the park but the hotel itself is something to brag about. Its a great family resort and everything is excellent from the service, cleaniness, etc. The hotel is so interesting and theres a ton of history behind it. By staying at the hotel breakers i was able to make my cedar point vacation the best it could be.

I just returned from a weekend trip to Cedar Point and a stay at the Breakers. It was a wonderful place to stay. I was with a group of 10 20-somethings and we loved the hotel. We even stayed on the Snoopy floor and couldn't have had a better time. The close proximity to the park and early entrance time made it all worthwhile. We will be returning to the Breakers any time we visit Cedar Point from now on.

Dated, smelly, and run-down! We will never stay at Breakers again. Rude front desk staff and managers. You definately don't get what you pay for!

You cant beat the location when you're visiting Cedar Point. The staff is overall probably the friendliest anywhere and the rooms were clean and neat and had everything I needed. My only complaint is eating out. At every meal, within the hotel, we had to wait an abnormal amount of time and we always go at the end of August when the crowds are light. I'm assuming staffing is also light and that would account for the delay. We've waited as much as 40min after ordering even for appitizers. Otherwise, we have made staying at the Breakers our family tradition. We will most certainly be returning next year!

Loved the Breakers Hotel! After reading some of the reviews on the Breakers, I was pleasantly surprised at what I found on our recent stay. I booked 2 standard rooms in the Towers for the entire family. While it's true that the hallways are not efficiently air conditioned, it just added to the atmosphere of the hotel for me. The rooms were efficiently air conditioned and extremely comfortable. They were comparable in size to a Holiday Inn room, and easily accommodated a twin rollaway bed provided by the hotel. Rooms were very clean, and I saw not one bit of mold as reported in other reviews. The mattresses were not brand new, so what - the beds were comfortable, and we had no problem falling asleep and relaxing on them. I really appreciated the free parking and the convenience of the on-site restaurants and the extremely close proximity of the park entrances and the beach. Additionally, we found the hotel staff to be very friendly and accommodating. The only downside is the price, but it's well worth it for the conveniences. The entire family loved their stay, and can't wait until we go back again next year. I am recommending the Breakers Hotel to all my friends.

Could not go on Beach because of the bugs & birds. Seagull droppings everywhere! At night walking from park to hotel we had to go thru the largest swarm of bugs we ever saw. We had them all over us...Including our mouths! Payed higher price then most luxary resorts for a hotel on par with a 1975 Howard Johnson's.
