My husband and I loved this motel. He loved the fact that the motel had free breakfast. That was one of the reason why we chose to stay there. The breakfast was wonderful. The staff was very pleasant and always willing to help. The cleaning staff was really nice also. Very friendly staff. The front desk had complimentary fresh baked cookies which melted in your mouth. They had a fruit basket also, that we could get fruit anytime of the night. Yummy! The rooms were very neat and clean and the whole motel was a non smoking motel, which we loved. The motel had a pool and a heated pool which stayed open til 11. They also had a work out room. Drink and snacks machines on every floor. We really enjoyed it and we would recommend it to anyone visiting Ashville. We will continue to stay here when we travel. The Muffett's

The sales manager and I made an agreement for a rate for long term stay for multiple rooms. They honored it for one night, when we tried to make additional reservations they refused. We stayed at the Country Inn and Suites in Beckley, WV from Oct to March and they honored the same agreement. But this one said one thing over the phone and then change it and wanted $50 dollars more per night, per room. We rent from two to four rooms at a time. This was going to be a long stay from Mar to Sep. So I do not recommend this hotel due to their failure to honor what they agree too. No milk was available at breakfast when we ate. They assigned both of us to the same room, even though we had two different rooms, and then when we corrected that, had to return to the lobby from the 5th floor again, because the keys did not work. Also one elevator for 5 floors, which is long waits at times.

This review is long overdue. We always looks for a midway point to stay during our summer vacation to the beach. The Country Inn and Suites is a great value and one of the cleanest hotels we've ever stayed in. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The deluxe continental breakfast was great. It got us on the road quicker because we didn't have to waste time at a resturant for breakfast. The variety of food was amazing. It surrounded by all the top resturants. We'll stay here every year from now on. We stayed last year and already have our room booked for this year..

The hotel is nice and clean, in general good service, with the exception of one man on the front desk, who does not care about the needs of the customers, he is only caring for large groups, anything else is not important. What a shame to have one person ruin the impression of an otherwise fine facility.

these offer great value, a nice bed, extra pillows, warm showers with water pressure, a computer room, snacks and the best continental breakfast. it's a real value, especially for families

Me and my family stayed at 4 different hotels on our recent road trip. This was by far the best one. The staff was outstanding, it was in excellent condition and extremely clean. We will only consider staying here if we are ever visiting or passing through the area again. P.S. We were in town to visit the Biltmore Estate and it was nice that the hotel allows you to charge the admission tickets to the room and avoid the line at the estate.
